To demons, eight hours and twenty-four hours were not all that different, because they rarely had any concept of time. Of course, these demon goblins were exceptions, because they were merchants!

Well, the goblins under Fat G had the same problem as he did: they valued money as dearly as their lives. Still, there was one thing worth praising—they generally cared about commercial integrity. Though their standards for integrity were demonic standards, having something was better than having nothing. So they at least had some concept of time, because they often had to deliver goods on schedule.

But as far as today was concerned, Fat G felt that eight hours was far too short!

Just after Solam had eaten and drunk his fill, the enemy arrived... Fat G had originally hoped Solam would hurry up, finish eating, and go fight the enemy in the field. But now, it seemed they could only fight a defensive battle.

This made Fat G curse furiously inside, cursing Tukakura and Karzarano for moving so fast while also cursing Solam for eating too slowly.

But no matter what, what was coming had arrived. No matter how much Fat G cursed inwardly, he had no choice now.
