Faced with Solam's polite refusal, Demogorgon could not force the issue. He was destined not to become Solam's enemy. Besides, he already had a mountain of matters on his hands; the Iron Fortresses Solam had ceded to him alone would keep him busy for quite some time. After all, the devils had not given up on those fortresses and were attacking them without pause, hoping to reclaim them.

These terrifying, sinuous demons possessed two humanoid torsos joined atop a single coiled body. Each torso had six humanoid arms, all gripping sharp scimitars. Their two heads resembled baboons, their eyes shining with excitement and hatred.
Aulac Demons were not members of demon races such as the Tanar'ri or the Obyrith. They were a race of their own, one personally shaped by Demogorgon. Their ability to transform into humanoid forms, coupled with their silver tongues and extensive knowledge, made them excellent spies or double agents.
Aulac Demons were devastating in battle, relying mainly on their wildly slashing scimitars and savage bites. Though weaker than Mariliths, their enhanced number of arms still made them a true whirlwind of bloody melee combat.
One look at their appearance made it obvious they had been spawned by Demogorgon. Though these demons were unruly and obeyed only Demogorgon's commands, their combat strength was unquestionably real. And because of Demogorgon's strict orders, they were fairly obedient to Solam's commands. Of course, that was more likely because Solam had killed over a thousand Aulac Demons at the very beginning due to their insolence.
