Though they were not certain that the vampires and Slaughter Cult were targeting Solam, just like Serilef, they instinctively thought of him. In this city, Solam was the only one likely to draw their attention.
So, the Church of Bane simply kept a close watch on the Slaughter Cult and the vampires to see what they intended to do. If their target truly was Solam, then they could fish in troubled waters.
