The nameless priest suddenly felt a surge of terror rise from the depths of his heart. He had known from the start that Solam was an extremely dangerous figure, but he had only been wary of him, not afraid. Otherwise, he would never have dared plot against Solam.

But the Solam before him now felt worlds apart from the one before. Instinctive fear kept growing within him. For a moment, he had been ready to flee at all costs. He no longer feared punishment from within the Church of Bane; even his fear of Bane himself had been crushed to the limit. After all, no matter how terrifying Bane was, he would not appear right before him. But Solam's terror was right there in front of him!
