The other elders each had their own opinions as well, and soon the entire council hall was in an uproar.

"Cough!" Solam could no longer stand it. These giants' voices were far too loud, and the noise was making his head throb. He wanted to interrupt their argument.

But his voice was too quiet, completely drowned out by the giants' booming voices. No one heard him at all.

Left with no choice, Solam cast an "Echo Spell" on himself. This spell used magical refraction to amplify Solam's voice tremendously.

"COUGH!!!" The massive echo instantly cut off the elders' argument, and everyone turned to look at Solam.

"Um, may I say something?"

Elder Tatario felt a little embarrassed when he heard Solam. As the First Elder, he could not escape blame for letting the king witness the elders' disgraceful behavior. The others were also somewhat stunned. They had invited Solam only out of respect for tradition; they had never expected this king to actually speak.

"I apologize, Your Majesty. We have been discourteous." After saying that, Elder Tatario bowed to Solam in apology.

Seeing this, the other attendees also bowed and apologized to Solam, whether they wanted to or not.

"You are the king. Of course you may say whatever you wish, wherever you wish."

"Mm, that's good. Also, I'm not trying to blame you. I just wanted to say that if you want to find the dragon's lair, I might be able to help."

"What???" Solam's words greatly shocked everyone present. They had not expected Solam, the king with barely any presence, to claim that he could help find the dragon's lair.

"Is that true?" Elder Tatario was even more pleasantly surprised. This problem had troubled the council for months. If the king could solve it, that would be wonderful.
