Across the street stood two people dressed in Konoha ninja flak jackets, forehead protectors tied around their heads—the standard attire of Konoha shinobi.
What drew the most attention were their eyes. They were brilliantly white, unlike the whites of ordinary eyes, resembling pale jade with a faint bluish tint.
He had that same shade now, and it was already seventy percent similar.
His eyes had changed from pure black to dark brown, then from dark brown to light brown. Now, they had become a pale grayish white.
The color of his irises grew lighter by the day, and the traits of the Byakugan became more obvious by the day. He had not concealed it, nor had he ever planned to. The whole process had been carried out openly.
So, the intentions of these two people coming to find him were obvious.
Genkawa Uchiha turned around and faced them directly. His gaze was cold, as though he were looking at two stones by the roadside.
The two men's expressions shifted slightly under his gaze. They exchanged a look, and one of them lowered his voice.
"The feeling was right. It feels like being watched through Byakugan vision."
The other nodded, keeping his voice equally low.
"Yes, I noticed it too. This feeling cannot be mistaken."
The speaker paused, his brows knitting together as a hint of concern entered his tone.
"The Main Family told us not to come into conflict with him, but that man seems... very difficult to deal with."
The first man frowned, as if weighing something.
"Let's go ask him first. This concerns the Byakugan, so we have to be careful."
"Alright."
Having reached an agreement, the two did not hesitate and walked toward Genkawa Uchiha.
