"Rumble--"
A deafening roar echoed, and beneath the phantom of the massive Totem Pillar at the center of the nebula soul, a vortex emerged.
"Transformation Rune!" Inexplicably, a stream of information flooded into Lei Mo's mind.
"So that's how it is!" Lei Mo sighed with emotion.
That elf must have inadvertently triggered a naturally formed Transformation Rune, which then fused into his soul.
It granted him the ability to refine the blood essence of Magic Beasts, though the rune was incomplete and already merged with his soul.
Without knowing its form, let alone having any comprehension of it, it was naturally impossible to pass it on.
Lei Mo was different; his epiphany at the Kemar Library had allowed him to thoroughly master this Transformation Rune.
This was the first rune Lei Mo had fully mastered, and unlike the previous seven, this one could be inherited.
The Transformation Rune—a rune born from the main body of Franklin—possessed miraculous abilities.
Once fully comprehended, it could be engraved and solidified.
Depending on the blood infused, the Transformation Rune could evolve into different rune combinations.
By merging with the soul of the blood's owner, it granted them the ability to refine Magic Beast blood essence and transform into a Magic Beast.
The vortex of the rune combination could absorb and refine Magic Beast blood essence, capable of reaching the level of transforming into a Saint-level Magic Beast at its peak.
As the pioneer of the Transformation Rune, such a massive change had occurred within Lei Mo's soul.
Coupled with the fusion and subsequent explosion of the two Void and Reality runes, Lei Mo felt a surge of anticipation.
"Bill, give me a drop of your blood essence!"
Lei Mo sent a soul transmission to the Divine Wind Bear, Bill.
"Yes, Master!"
Bill surrendered a drop of blood essence, looking at Lei Mo with resentful eyes.
"Alright, here are a few drops of Golden Water for you."
The golden liquid collected from the space at the bottom of the lake possessed a heavy water affinity, but it was excellent for helping the Divine Wind Bear recover its body; the water element was naturally adept at nourishment.
Watching that drop of blood essence radiating a cyan-purple light, Lei Mo communicated with the vortex in his nebula soul.
The blood essence vanished silently, and the nebula vortex in his mind spun rapidly, rippling with waves of soul energy.
Lei Mo sat cross-legged on the ground, perceiving the shifts in the nebula within his Soul Ocean.
As the nebula spun, that drop of blood essence turned into mist and merged into Lei Mo's soul nebula.
Following an instinctive sensation, Lei Mo's entire body swelled, and patches of sky-blue fur sprouted from beneath his skin.
Lei Mo's face twisted as if he were enduring immense agony.
"Puff--"
Lei Mo's hands transformed into massive bear paws.
"Bang--"
His leather leg guards shattered, his legs and feet morphing into bear paws and limbs.
His back arched, and sky-blue fur grew rapidly across his entire body.
"Boom--"
His entire person transformed into a Divine Wind Bear, five meters long and two meters tall, crouching on the ground.
With a body slightly smaller than a normal Divine Wind Bear, a round head, and small eyes, he looked endearingly silly.
"Ah-- Mas--ter, Master, what happened to you?"
Bill the Divine Wind Bear was dumbfounded. Where is my master? Who is this? Where did this Divine Wind Bear come from?
Naturally simple-minded, Bill was instantly at a loss for what to do.
The current situation exceeded his understanding, leaving his brain unable to process it.
The transformation had been excruciating for Lei Mo; his bones felt as if they were being crushed and recast, his skin and flesh stretched and warped, causing intense pain.
Yet, once the transformation was complete, there was no pain at all; instead, he felt quite comfortable, running around happily on the ground for a while.
It felt instinctive, and he experienced no discomfort from being on all fours.
He tried casting a few wind-element spells, which flowed perfectly without any lag, though unfortunately, he did not gain the ability to use lightning-element magic.
This slightly smaller Divine Wind Bear suddenly stood upright, shook its body, wiggled its bear bottom, and transformed back into a naked Lei Mo.
Taking a robe from his spatial ring to cover himself, Lei Mo looked at Bill the Divine Wind Bear.
Bill also stared at Lei Mo with his round, pitch-black eyes, man and bear looking at each other in silence.
"How is it, Bill? Can you tell the difference?"
Lei Mo finally spoke; expecting this blockhead to figure it out on his own was impossible.
"This-- what difference?"
Bill continued to stare blankly.
"I'm asking if you could tell that this was a human transformed into a Divine Wind Bear?"
Lei Mo rubbed the miniature-sized Divine Wind Bear, Bill, vigorously.
"Wuu—no, Master. I thought you had disappeared and wondered where this Divine Wind Bear had come from. I couldn't tell at all!"
Bill said, looking aggrieved.
"You can't just play with a bear like that. I wasn't prepared at all and was scared out of my wits for no reason!"
Ignoring Bill's grumbling, Lei Mo pondered the differences between himself and the Druids he knew of.
After thinking for a long time, he found no difference, other than the fact that his speed of refining essence blood was much faster.
"I wonder if there are any restrictions on this Druid transformation?"
Lei Mo had already decided to name this ability Druid.
"Can a Magic Beast become a Druid? The rune soul lacks blood, so that's definitely out of the question."
Lei Mo suddenly had another brainstorm. He happened to have the essence blood of a Wind-Thunder Magic Bear on him, so he decided to act on it immediately.
He took some of Bill's blood and prepared the materials for rune engraving. Since it was blood this time, Bill didn't have any complaints.
He used the materials containing Bill's blood to draw the transformation rune, and the moment it took shape, "Hum—" it activated automatically.
Then, there was no "then." There was absolutely no reaction. Bill stared with his beady black eyes, waiting expectantly for a long time.
"What about a human?"
Lei Mo continued his experiment, having Franklin expand his Divine Domain to carry him into the Elf Forest.
In the Elf Forest, Lei Mo spread his divine sense and found a level-six Magic Beast, a Wind Leopard. This beast didn't have high intelligence, so Lei Mo transformed into a Divine Wind Bear and slapped it to death with one paw.
After reverting to human form, he took out a container, quickly collected a few drops of essence blood, and then transformed back into a bear to leave.
In his Divine Wind Bear form, he had a great affinity for wind-type elements. As he ran, he merged with the wind, feeling almost no wind resistance.
Lei Mo was very enthusiastic about transforming into a Divine Wind Bear and was having a blast.
He ran back to a spot not far from Kemar City and had Franklin carry him, instantly flying into Minair Manor.
"Torista! I have an experiment. If it succeeds, you will gain tremendous benefits, and if it fails, there will be no loss—only some pain, and you might be exposed. Are you willing to try?"
Lei Mo was telling the truth; not only was the transformation painful, but one's clothes would truly be shredded.
What does the Lord mean? Does he want me to serve him in bed? If the Lord had such intentions, could I even resist? Why go through all this trouble and make up an excuse about an experiment causing exposure?
After the incident with the Duke's heir, Coriti, Torista's mind tended to overthink things.
If Lei Mo knew he was being slandered like this, he would be absolutely furious!
Half-elves were beautiful, but Lei Mo was not that kind of person. To slander his innocence out of thin air!
Noticing Torista's shifty eyes and her increasingly red face, Lei Mo was suddenly struck by a fit of anger.
"Boom—"
He flipped and transformed into a five-meter-long, two-meter-high Divine Wind Bear, staring at Torista with his beady black eyes.
"Have you decided? If you transform like me, your clothes will definitely be shredded, and exposure is inevitable!"
Lei Mo, in his Divine Wind Bear form, looked majestic and awe-inspiring as he spoke in human language.
Yet, there was an eerie sense of cuteness to it, which cut the imposing aura of a Saint-level Magic Beast by more than half.
Looking at the shredded robes on the ground and the massive body of the Magic Beast, Torista realized she had misunderstood and blushed, feeling incredibly embarrassed.
"I have decided, Lord! I am willing to try."
Torista said hurriedly.
Lei Mo transformed back into human form in front of Torista and put on his robe.
It wasn't that Lei Mo was being a hooligan; with this size, he couldn't fit through the room's door, so he had to transform back right where he was!
