• Lu Ye and his companions learned that breaking out of a Chess Grid triggered the Starry Sky Chessboard’s deadly backlash, while Lian explained that the contest was Legion Chess.
• Lu Ye learned that the Chess Game isolated its participants from the Hehe Realm and suppressed the Uniting Dao Pearl’s enhancement for City Lord-level powerhouses.
• Black Blood realized Blood Calamity had revealed the Azure Dome Mirror’s secret to draw out the Starry Sky Chessboard, while Jiao regretted that his injuries cost him the Chess Player role.

• Yuan Xi and Black Blood maneuvered their pieces around Yuan Xi City, and Lu Ye noticed that Yuan Xi was moving her Talent Tree Clone and You Die toward one another.

• Yuan Xi used Lu Ye’s movement ability to escape the siege temporarily, but Black Blood’s forces resumed their pursuit whenever their turn came.
• Lu Ye told Yuan Xi he would lure away the pursuers and asked how far they were from Black Blood City, prompting Yuan Xi to consider attacking it.
