• The Phoenix Lord told Lu Ye that the Primordial Parasol Tree's condition had worsened after the realms merged and that even she could no longer borrow its power.
• Lu Ye told the Phoenix Lord and Dragon Sovereign that Blood Calamity remained in the Origin Realm and was refining a Half-Saint's bloodline after Lu Ye helped him kill that Half-Saint with poison.
• The Dragon Sovereign urged Lu Ye to stay at the Phoenix Nest and cultivate while the Star Abyss descended into chaos.

• The Primordial Parasol Tree appeared before Lu Ye after his power weakened the corruption, and Lu Ye recognized him as the spirit of the Phoenix Race’s Supreme Treasure.
• The Primordial Parasol Tree identified Lu Ye as the Fire Seed left by his master, but his still-damaged consciousness became confused again.

Lu Ye returned to Variegated and discovered that a Senluo City force had besieged it to seize the Star Abyss Gate. At Azure Palace, Yin Luo and the other defenders were close to being overwhelmed as Fei Mu acknowledged they could not hold out much longer.

• Phoenix Lord told Dragon Sovereign that Primordial Parasol Tree had briefly regained consciousness, giving them hope that the Second Generation Ancestor and Seventh Generation Master's consciousnesses might still survive.
• Primordial Parasol Tree sent Lu Ye through space, and after traveling another day and a half, he reached the Variegated expanse.
• Lu Ye spotted a Cosmos-tier Uniting Dao City blocking the way and recognized it as Senluo City's after Zong Shenliang's Clone entered Variegated.

• Yin Luo urged Hua Ci to leave Azure Palace, but Hua Ci refused and prepared to defend it alongside the others.

• Lu Ye revealed that Variegated was his Dao Soldier, and his Clone killed Zong Shenliang’s Uniting Dao subordinates with sword light.
• Lu Ye sealed the entrance and attacked Zong Shenliang after rejecting his offer to settle their conflict.

• Lu Ye poisoned Zong Shenliang's Clone, then realized its conspicuous blue-black qi made it unsuitable for his plan.
• Lu Ye brought Hun Que to the Poison Corpse, and Hun Que possessed it and confirmed he could control the body, though not sustain its power for long.

• Zong Shenliang shattered Zhe Huang’s Uniting Dao Pearl, and Lu Ye and Hun Que killed Zhe Huang and the other cultivators in the Central Great Hall.

• Lu Ye found a Hedao cultivator using a Ten Thousand Souls Banner to harvest a city's inhabitants and killed him after learning he had never seen Zong Shenliang.
• Lu Ye sensed a Supreme Treasure nearby and intercepted an intelligent Snow White Long Sword as it fled through the starry sky.
