Chapters 1954–1978 Vol. 20 Read

Ch. 1954Asura Arena Sub-Treasure Acquired

Lu Ye acquired the Asura Arena Sub-Treasure and fulfilled his contract by removing Mi Shi’s Bloodline Curse Poison. The Heavenly Asura Patriarch gained renewed life and promised to help Lu Ye in the future, while A Qiduo’s records suggested the curse may have begun after a war with the Gan Race.

  • A Qiduo explained that many supposed clues to the Asura Arena were deliberately planted, and she told Lu Ye the Fate Dice did not react because their secluded scenario was not a trial ground.
  • The ten-billion-Asura-Seal Asura Arena Sub-Treasure disappeared from the treasury, astonishing cultivators who gathered to see it was gone.
  • Lu Ye and Mi Shi signed the Asura Contract, and the Heavenly Asuras supplied Lu Ye with Fire Attribute treasures to replenish the Talent Tree fuel needed to treat their people.
  • As Lu Ye treated Mi Shi, A Qiduo recalled records linking the Bloodline Curse Poison to an ancient war against the Gan Race; Mi Shi also remembered that the Heavenly Asuras had once governed a branch of the Merfolk Race.
  • Lu Ye burned away Mi Shi’s Bloodline Curse Poison, restoring his vitality and stabilizing his cultivation, and Mi Shi promised to aid Lu Ye whenever he could.

Ch. 1955Sea River Tower

While treating the Heavenly Asura Race’s Bloodline Curse Poison, Lu Ye explored Sea River Tower and uncovered ancient records about a calamity involving a gate, the Blood Ancestor, and Square Inch Mountain. The records ended with an account of the battle’s aftermath and a final warning about what lay beyond the gate, leaving Lu Ye stunned by the starry sky’s hidden history.

  • Lu Ye watched Abuluo and Gu Sheng destroy the Human-Heart Artificer Armor, only to find that the guarded location held no Asura Arena item.
  • Lu Ye asked A Qiduo to investigate Ma Bin, but she could not search for someone at Sunlight cultivation.
  • Lu Ye followed A Qiduo to Sea River Tower and began examining its neglected, fragmentary Jade Slips while continuing to treat the Heavenly Asura clansmen.
  • Lu Ye discovered a Jade Slip describing a shattered gate, strange monsters from an abyss, and a Sunlight cultivator who died after comprehending the Dao too late.
  • Lu Ye found records of the Blood Ancestor’s attack, her battle with Square Inch Mountain’s Dao Child, and the treasure’s destruction before the writer departed beyond the gate.

Ch. 1956Asura Summoning Token

After months of treating the Heavenly Asura Race and searching Sea River Tower for ancient records, Lu Ye received an Asura Summoning Token from Yu Yaorao, who was in danger during a trial. He learned that his strength would be suppressed if he answered the summons, and Yu Yaorao explained the threat as she waited to see whether he would help.

  • Lu Ye spent over half a year helping hundreds of Heavenly Asura Race members cure their Bloodline Curse Poison and found no further ancient records in Sea River Tower.
  • Yu Yaorao and Wanzi were cornered by a group of cultivators after their allies were killed, and Yu Yaorao asked Wanzi to stall them while she prepared a jade token.
  • Wanzi stepped out to distract the pursuing cultivators, while Yu Yaorao wrote Lu Ye's name on the token and activated it with her blood.
  • Lu Ye received Yu Yaorao's summons while treating a Heavenly Asura Race cultivator, and A Qiduo explained that the token would suppress his strength to the level of the trial scene.
  • Yu Yaorao described her danger and the enemies surrounding her, uncertain whether Lu Ye would answer after she had received little response from him for months.

Ch. 1957The Human Heart Is Hard to Fathom

Yu Yaorao was ambushed by nearly a hundred enemies and learned that her Senior Sister Yu Hong had betrayed her and arranged her death. Lu Ye answered her Asura Summoning Token and appeared just as she was about to kill herself, leaving him facing the attackers.

  • Yu Yaorao's hiding place was destroyed, and the attackers surrounded her and the captured Wanzi.
  • Yu Hong revealed that she had recommended Yu Yaorao for the Primordial Realm expedition, hoping she would die there, and arranged the current ambush out of jealousy over Yu Gong.
  • As the burly man moved to seize Yu Yaorao, she tried to take her own life rather than be captured.
  • Lu Ye appeared through the Asura Summoning Token and knocked the burly man back, while Yu Yaorao broke down in relief at his arrival.
  • Yu Hong ordered the burly man to attack Lu Ye, but he rejected her orders.

Ch. 1958Kill

The Fate Dice bestowed terrifying killing intent on Lu Ye during Yu Yaorao’s trial, letting him slaughter the Star Constellations who had betrayed her and kill Yu Hong. After Yu Yaorao broke down in grief and the trial ended, Lu Ye returned to Sea River Tower to help the Heavenly Asuras.

  • The Fate Dice rolled a kill character, surrounding Lu Ye with a frightening aura that disrupted his enemies’ minds.
  • Lu Ye shielded Yu Yaorao and killed the burly man before cutting down more than a hundred Star Constellations in moments.
  • Lu Ye killed the captor who had held Wanzi hostage, and Wanzi survived after he shoved her away from the saber.
  • Yu Yaorao asked Lu Ye to kill Yu Hong, and he stabbed her before Yu Yaorao collapsed into Wanzi’s embrace and wept.
  • The trial ended, and Lu Ye returned to Sea River Tower to treat the Heavenly Asuras’ Bloodline Curse Poison.

Ch. 1959Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Lu Ye completed his obligation to the Heavenly Asura Race and continued studying the records in Sea River Tower, where he finally found a damaged Jade Slip about the Three Flowers Method. It confirmed his progress toward the Body Flower and Qi Flower, but showed that perfecting his Magic Source would demand immense resources.

  • A Qiduo told Lu Ye that he had cured the Bloodline Curse Poison for all one thousand five hundred clansmen required by his Asura Contract, and offered to guide him out and back into the secluded scene.
  • Lu Ye found a damaged Jade Slip describing a cultivator who had reached his limit while waiting for a mysterious gate to open, and read of Senior Brother Xun Yun, who had cultivated the Ancient Method and comprehended the Dao.
  • Lu Ye ignored a Moon Jade Battle Arena challenge because his rank had fallen beyond the top five hundred during his time in seclusion.
  • Lu Ye completed a normal trial and earned fewer than two hundred thousand Asura Seals, then asked A Qiduo to guide him back to Sea River Tower.
  • Lu Ye discovered a Jade Slip titled “Ancient Method: Secret of the Three Flowers” and learned that he had taken the right steps toward condensing the Body Flower and Qi Flower, though perfecting his Magic Source required vast resources.

Ch. 1960The Asura Arena Is Closing

Lu Ye learned that Mi Shi’s breakthrough to Sunlight had triggered the Asura Arena’s temporary closure, leaving him only a short time to spend his accumulated Asura Seals. The chapter ended with Mi Shi giving Lu Ye a gift of resources and Lu Ye hurrying to the treasure vault before the Arena closed.

  • The Asura Arena abruptly expelled all cultivators, and A Qiduo summoned Lu Ye to the Heavenly Asura Race’s Cave Abode.
  • Lu Ye discovered that Mi Shi had emerged from seclusion rejuvenated and advanced to Sunlight.
  • Mi Shi explained that an ancestor’s contingency had made the Asura Arena expel outsiders when a Heavenly Asura cultivator first reached Sunlight, and that it would no longer admit outsiders after reopening.
  • Mi Shi told Lu Ye the Arena would close in about the time it took to burn one stick of incense and gave him a Storage Ring of resources from the Heavenly Asura Race.
  • Lu Ye accepted the gift, said farewell to Mi Shi and A Qiduo, and rushed off to exchange his Asura Seals.

Ch. 1961It's Here

Lu Ye exchanged his Asura Seals for treasures to enhance his Magic Source while Yu Yaorao waited in his Cave Abode. When the Asura Arena closed, the two were transported to an unfamiliar, apparently empty realm, leaving Lu Ye wondering where the other cultivators had gone.

  • Yu Yaorao visited Lu Ye's Cave Abode, and he urged her to use any Asura Seals she still had before entering the treasury.
  • Lu Ye exchanged his remaining Asura Seals for Magic Source treasures at half price, then returned to find Yu Yaorao flustered and trying to leave.
  • Lu Ye stopped Yu Yaorao as the Asura Arena closed, and they were swept together through streams of multicolored light.
  • Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao landed in a low-level, apparently uninhabited realm, and they discovered their Asura Tokens were gone.
  • Lu Ye asked Yu Yaorao to contact her people from the Nine Profound Star System so they could learn where the other cultivators had gone.

Ch. 1962Utterly Unlucky

After the Asura Arena expelled its cultivators into an unknown region, Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao searched for a way home amid growing conflicts. The chapter ended as Lu Ye faced an approaching Sunlight cultivator and heard someone call out to Ma Bin.

  • Yu Yaorao could not contact her acquaintances, and Lu Ye failed to reach the Soul Race Ancestral Land, so he and Yu Yaorao set out to find their location.
  • Lu Ye met another cultivator who had been expelled from the Asura Arena, exchanged Sound Talisman imprints with him, and continued traveling with Yu Yaorao.
  • As conflicts broke out among the expelled cultivators, Lu Ye steered clear of a Star Constellation battle and later changed course to avoid fighting Sunlight cultivators.
  • When a Sunlight aura rapidly approached, Lu Ye opened a gateway to the Little Flower Realm and ordered Yu Yaorao inside.
  • Lu Ye prepared to use a Red Talisman as a distant voice taunted Ma Bin for fleeing.

Ch. 1963Ma Bin!

Lu Ye encountered Ma Bin while the powerful Sunlight cultivator was fleeing pursuers, and Ma Bin turned back to fight after sensing Lu Ye in his path. After reuniting with Nan Lian and Hetao, Lu Ye learned that Ma Bin escaped the encirclement and was known as the Azure Demon King, a feared killer of Sunlights.

  • Lu Ye recognized the fleeing Ma Bin as the senior from the former Nine Provinces and realized Ma Bin had turned back to keep the battle from reaching him.
  • Lu Ye released Yu Yaorao from the Little Flower Realm after fleeing the battle, then met Nan Lian and Hetao on a nearby meteorite.
  • Nan Lian watched the battle and announced that Ma Bin had fought his way out of the encirclement.
  • Nan Lian told Lu Ye and Hetao that Ma Bin was called the Azure Demon King and had killed more than twenty Sunlights by assassinating them in their realms.

Ch. 1964Doubt

Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao agreed to travel with Nan Lian through the newly revealed Asura Territory toward Nine Profound. Meanwhile, the Sunlight cultivators who fought Ma Bin inferred that he had turned back to protect someone and set out to investigate, just as an unknown figure appeared before Nan Lian's group.

  • Nan Lian discussed Ma Bin's long history and suspected that his injuries from fighting four Sunlight cultivators were severe, while Lu Ye concealed his concern.
  • Changfeng and the surviving Sunlight cultivators learned Ma Bin had damaged his Dao Foundation and reasoned that he had turned back to protect someone nearby, then went to investigate.
  • Nan Lian explained that the Asura Arena's power had vanished, revealing the vast Asura Territory and scattering the cultivators who had been inside it.
  • Nan Lian offered to guide Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao toward Nine Profound by way of her homeland, Myriad Rosy Clouds, and they accepted.
  • Nan Lian sensed an approaching presence and placed Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao behind her before an unknown figure appeared and noticed she was a Sunlight cultivator.

Ch. 1965Parting

Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao traveled with Nan Lian until she identified the direction of Nine Profound, then parted ways and continued toward Yu Yaorao’s star system. They met a Nine Profound tower ship, where Senior Brother Sun recognized Lu Ye as the Top Ranker of the Moonlight Realm.

  • Changfeng questioned Nan Lian about Ma Bin’s strange actions and searched the area, while Lu Ye hid his connection to Ma Bin.
  • Nan Lian found the direction of Myriad Rosy Clouds and calculated the route to Nine Profound, after which Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao took their leave.
  • Yu Yaorao contacted cultivators from Nine Profound and learned that a Sunlight Martial Uncle was gathering returning members of their star system.
  • Lu Ye and Yu Yaorao met the Nine Profound tower ship, and Senior Brother Sun greeted Yu Yaorao before recognizing Lu Ye as the Top Ranker of the Moonlight Realm.

Ch. 1966Fangu Attacks

Lu Ye reunited with Yu Yaorao and Nine Profound cultivators in the Asura Territory, but Fangu attacked their Star Boat before he could leave. He agreed to help defend the ship and recognized the enemy leader, Jiang An, who also found Lu Ye strangely familiar.

  • Sun Zheng recognized Lu Ye as the former Top Ranker of the Moonlight Realm, and Lu Ye said goodbye to Yu Yaorao before Sun Zheng urged him to travel with Nine Profound.
  • A Sunlight cultivator warned that enemies were attacking, and Sun Zheng ordered the Star Boat to speed up and activate its Protective Spirit Array.
  • The detection Formation revealed Fangu Star Boats approaching from both sides, and Sun Zheng realized their Sunlight cultivator had drawn away Cen Xin while more than a dozen Moon Jade Realm cultivators moved to attack.
  • As Fangu caught up and assaulted the ship, Lu Ye agreed to help Nine Profound fight back, and Yu Yaorao reluctantly let go of his hand.
  • Lu Ye joined Sun Zheng and four other Nine Profound cultivators on deck, where Jiang An called out to Sun Zheng and both he and Lu Ye found the other strangely familiar.

Ch. 1967Repelling the Enemy

Lu Ye protected Nine Profound’s star boat by driving back Fangu’s attackers, then left before Cen Xin returned. Yu Yaorao watched him go, while Cen Xin urged her to seize the chance if she had feelings for him.

  • Jiang An recognized Lu Ye as the Moonlight Realm’s Top Ranker, but Lu Ye swiftly wounded him with a saber strike.
  • Fangu’s Moon Jade Realm cultivators charged Lu Ye, and Nine Profound’s cultivators intercepted them while Lu Ye wounded several attackers without killing any.
  • Jiang An ordered Fangu’s cultivators to retreat, and Lu Ye declined to pursue them before saying farewell to Yu Yaorao and departing.
  • Cen Xin returned to find Nine Profound’s cultivators unharmed, then learned from Sun Zheng and Yu Yaorao how Lu Ye had saved them.
  • Cen Xin told Yu Yaorao that Lu Ye had a limitless future and urged her to act if she had feelings for him.

Ch. 1968Seeing Ma Bin Again

Lu Ye tracked the Fangu cultivators hoping to find Ma Bin and reunited with Zhu Yuan, who led him to Ma Bin hiding on a barren star. Ma Bin’s injuries proved severe, and he examined the supreme-quality healing pills Lu Ye brought but seemed unable to use them.

  • Lu Ye followed the Fangu cultivators toward their star system until their Sunlight cultivator dispelled the Liao Power he had been using to track them.
  • Lu Ye encountered Zhu Yuan, recognized him from their past in the Myriad Phenomena Sea, and learned Zhu Yuan still served Ma Bin.
  • Zhu Yuan brought Lu Ye to a hidden underground cavern on a barren star, where Ma Bin was recovering from his injuries.
  • Lu Ye greeted Ma Bin and learned that Zhu Yuan had left the Fangu group to visit him after the group was summoned to attack Nine Profound.
  • Ma Bin dismissed his injuries as minor, then spat blood and nearly collapsed, prompting Lu Ye to offer his healing pills.
  • Ma Bin inspected Lu Ye’s supreme-quality pills and asked where he had obtained so many of them.

Ch. 1969I Have One

Lu Ye discovered that Ma Bin’s severe injuries had damaged his Dao Foundation, and learned that a Spirit Jade Vein could help him recover. Lu Ye revealed that Square Inch Mountain, which he had placed near the Nine Provinces, contained such a vein, but Ma Bin doubted the Little People Race would accept the risks of helping him.

  • Ma Bin recognized Lu Ye as the Dao Tree inheritor and warned him never to refine cultivators, recalling how doing so had contributed to the Nine Provinces’ calamity.
  • Lu Ye used the Talent Tree’s power to refine foreign Magic Power from Ma Bin’s body, easing his injuries but realizing Ma Bin’s Dao Foundation was damaged.
  • Zhu Yuan explained that Ma Bin could recover only by recuperating within a Spirit Jade Vein, though Changfeng’s allies had warned realms with such veins to guard them.
  • Lu Ye revealed that he had recovered Square Inch Mountain’s Core and placed it near the Nine Provinces, where it contained a Spirit Jade Vein.
  • Ma Bin doubted the Little People Race would let him use the vein because of its importance and the trouble surrounding his identity.

Ch. 1970A Turn for the Better

Lu Ye offered Ma Bin a way to heal his injuries at Three Realms Island, and Ma Bin agreed to travel to the Myriad Phenomena Sea separately. After visiting the Soul Race Ancestral Land and returning toward Nine Provinces, Lu Ye learned that an unfamiliar Sunlight Realm cultivator was searching there.

  • Lu Ye told Ma Bin that Three Realms Island had its own Spirit Jade Vein, and Ma Bin accepted his offer to recover there while insisting they travel separately.
  • A month later, Lu Ye entered the Soul Race Ancestral Land, found that Hun Que had not returned, and asked Xu Yuan about the Three Flowers.
  • Xu Yuan advised Lu Ye to focus on tempering his Magic Source and condensing the Qi Flower rather than seeking answers before he was ready.
  • Lu Ye used the Starry Sky Pool to return to Nine Provinces, carrying the Asura Arena Sub-Treasure for Little Nine.
  • Little Nine warned Lu Ye that an unfamiliar Sunlight Realm cultivator was searching Nine Provinces, so Lu Ye concealed his aura and stopped.

Ch. 1971This Man Has a Grudge Against Me!

Lu Ye discovered that Black Cloud had secretly entered the Nine Provinces to seek revenge, and prepared a way to keep a battle from destroying the realm. Black Cloud identified the Nine Provinces as the realm that had vanished ten thousand years earlier and began searching for the Dao Tree Inheritance.

  • Little Nine told Lu Ye that a concealed Demon Race Sunlight cultivator had been secretly investigating the Nine Provinces, and Lu Ye recognized him as Black Cloud.
  • Lu Ye concluded Black Cloud had come for revenge over the Purple Jade Demon Star and returned to the Nine Provinces under Little Nine's concealment.
  • Lu Ye gave Little Nine the Asura Arena Sub-Treasure to test whether it could create a setting for Sunlight cultivators to fight without harming the Nine Provinces.
  • Lu Ye left to seek help from Square Inch Mountain while Black Cloud inspected the Cycle Tree Clone near the Garrison Hall.
  • Black Cloud realized the Nine Provinces was the realm that had vanished after the battle ten thousand years earlier and sought the Dao Tree Inheritance it contained.

Ch. 1972You Walked Right Into This Yourself

Lu Ye lured Black Cloud into a battle setting created by Little Nine, where three Sunlights from the Little People Race ambushed him. Black Cloud realized he had walked into a trap and was forced to face them in a confined space.

  • Black Cloud decided to seize control of the Nine Provinces and search for the Dao Tree inheritance.
  • Lu Ye warned Su Yuqing, Chen Xuanhai, and Wu Qimo about Black Cloud, then coordinated with Little Nine to prepare a battlefield outside the Nine Provinces.
  • Black Cloud spotted Lu Ye approaching and pursued him through a vortex into the setting created by Little Nine.
  • Lu Ye dropped his act and revealed that Black Cloud had entered a trap as Chen Xuanhai, Su Yuqing, and Wu Qimo struck him with their Sunlight powers.
  • Black Cloud recognized the three attackers as Sunlights of the Little People Race, while Lu Ye ordered them to attack and the confined battlefield left Black Cloud with little room to flee.

Ch. 1973Black Cloud's Death

Lu Ye questioned the defeated Black Cloud and learned that Yuan Du had sent him to Nine Provinces using a route extracted from captured Three Realms Island cultivators. After Black Cloud was killed, the real Black Cloud on Purple Jade discovered that his Sunlight-level Dharma Body had been destroyed and swore revenge.

  • Lu Ye kept his distance while the Little People Race's three Sunlights subdued Black Cloud, then persuaded him to answer questions in exchange for a swift death.
  • Black Cloud revealed that Yuan Du had used Soul Searching Technique on captured Three Realms Island cultivators to find a route from the Myriad Phenomena Sea to Nine Provinces, though the route he received was incomplete and outdated.
  • Lu Ye learned that Yuan Du had sent Black Cloud to seek revenge and did not know Nine Provinces was the famed realm connected to the Dao Tree, but might investigate it later.
  • Lu Ye ordered Chen Xuanhai to kill Black Cloud, then told Little Nine to keep the scene sealed until Black Cloud was certainly dead.
  • On Purple Jade, the real Black Cloud discovered that his Sunlight-level Dharma Body had been killed and roared in fury over the loss of his three-thousand-year preparation.

Ch. 1974Little Nine's Happiness

Black Cloud concluded that Nine Provinces concealed powerful Sunlight cultivators and began planning to pursue the Dao Tree’s inheritance through Lu Ye. Meanwhile, Lu Ye and Little Nine put the Asura Arena Sub-Treasure into use, giving Nine Provinces cultivators a new place to train and leaving Little Nine eager to extend it to Spirit Stream and Cloud River cultivators.

  • Black Cloud connected his Dharma Body’s death to Nine Provinces and suspected Lu Ye might possess the Dao Tree’s inheritance, so he planned to target both Lu Ye and Nine Provinces.
  • Lu Ye instructed the Garrison Hall to announce a new training ground that could serve cultivators below and at the Star Constellation Realm.
  • A four-person squad hunting Corpse Race members on the Peerless Continent received the announcement and hurried back toward camp as cultivators across Nine Provinces gathered to investigate.
  • Lu Ye observed Little Nine operating the Asura Arena Sub-Treasure, which created adjustable trials for cultivators throughout Nine Provinces.
  • Little Nine decided to stop maintaining the Spirit Stream Battlefield and Cloud River Battlefield and let cultivators from those realms train in the Sub-Treasure instead.

Ch. 1975Not So Passionate

After settling matters in Nine Provinces, Lu Ye visited Su Yuqing and used rare treasures to strengthen his Magic Source, but it still fell short of perfection. He returned to Three Realms Island, where he learned it had prospered during his absence and began meeting with its leaders.

  • Lu Ye summoned Xuan Yu, Xiang Yin, and Ding Beifeng from the Blood Refining World, praised their progress, and sent them back to cultivate.
  • Lu Ye visited Su Yuqing on Square Inch Mountain, then refined the Asura Arena treasures he had exchanged until his Magic Source improved but remained imperfect.
  • Lu Ye left for the Myriad Phenomena Sea, intending to gather more treasures and find a way to deal with Yuan Du.
  • Lu Ye returned to Three Realms Island after a month, delivered materials from Su Yuqing to Haitang, and heard Haitang worry that Su Yuqing’s feelings might not be passionate.
  • He Baichuan, Ma Shangsi, Yuxi, Cheng Xin, and Tang Jun gathered with Lu Ye, and He Baichuan began reporting the island’s revenue before Lu Ye stopped him.

Ch. 1976Recent Developments

Lu Ye returned to Three Realms Island, approved keeping its newly advanced Moon Jade Realm cultivators, and learned that Nine Radiance was using the island’s Spirit Jade Vein. He found a way for Ma Bin to recover elsewhere, then refined treasures that tempered his Magic Source and reunited with Chu Shen.

  • He Baichuan told Lu Ye that eighteen Jade Snail Realm cultivators had recently advanced to Moon Jade Realm, and Lu Ye allowed them to remain on Three Realms Island.
  • Lu Ye learned that Nine Radiance had occupied the Spirit Jade Vein, complicating his plan to bring Ma Bin there to heal.

  • He Baichuan gave Lu Ye several treasures for tempering Magic Source, and Lu Ye refined them before leaving his Bamboo Lodge.
  • Lu Ye visited Chu Shen, who had advanced to the Moon Jade Realm, and they discussed Lu Ye’s eventual advancement to Sunlight.

Ch. 1977Meeting Nine Radiance

Lu Ye visited Nine Radiance in Three Realms Island’s Spirit Jade Vein, where she explained the road beyond Sunlight and offered to take him as her disciple. While Lu Ye postponed his answer, Yuan Du plotted to destroy Three Realms Island but worried that Nine Radiance’s presence would thwart him.

  • Lu Ye asked Chu Shen about Nine Radiance’s arrival, then went alone to visit her in the Spirit Jade Vein.
  • Nine Radiance told Lu Ye that the path beyond Sunlight was the Dao and offered to accept him into her sect.
  • Lu Ye hesitated to accept, citing his conflict with Yuan Du, and Nine Radiance said Yuan Du would not dare oppose her disciple.
  • Nine Radiance asked whether Lu Ye had found Ban Ci, and he said he had not.
  • Yuan Du blamed Lu Ye for his losses and planned to destroy Three Realms Island, but first sought a way to make Nine Radiance leave.

Ch. 1978Ma Bin Arrives

Lu Ye visited the Merfolk Race to seek permission to use its Spirit Jade Vein to heal Ma Bin, then returned to cultivate while waiting for Ma Bin to arrive. When Zhu Yuan reached Three Realms Island carrying Ma Bin, Nine Radiance appeared and scrutinized him, leaving Lu Ye wary that she had sensed Ma Bin's presence.

  • Lu Ye learned Yaya was staying in the Mermaid Territory, visited the Merfolk Race, and gained Yan Miao's permission to use its Spirit Jade Vein to heal Ma Bin.
  • Lu Ye reunited with Yaya, Bai Lu, and You Ling, celebrated Yan Miao and Luan Xiao'e's advances to Sunlight, and spent several days near the sealed Hua Ci.
  • Lu Ye returned to Three Realms Island, left a Treasure Blood Clone to guard it, and cultivated in seclusion for two months.
  • Zhu Yuan arrived on Three Realms Island, and Lu Ye recognized that Ma Bin had come with him through his ability to possess others.
  • Nine Radiance suddenly appeared before Lu Ye and Zhu Yuan, scrutinized Zhu Yuan, and left Lu Ye suspecting she had sensed Ma Bin's aura.
