Whenever Blood Race members ventured deep into the starry sky and returned from any direction, so long as they glimpsed Six-Finger Mountain from afar, they knew they were about to come home.
It was also a natural barrier for the realm.
Many years ago, a natural disaster had swept across the realm. A vast meteor shower that had drifted from some unknown place came hurtling through the starry sky, and the Blood Absolute Realm happened to lie within its path. Six-Finger Mountain, that natural barrier, intercepted every meteor headed for the realm. In that disaster, which would have inflicted grievous losses upon any realm, the Blood Absolute Realm miraculously suffered no damage at all.
To the Blood Race of the Blood Absolute Realm, Six-Finger Mountain was more than merely a uniquely shaped landmark. It was more like a totem.
But now, this totem showed signs of collapse. As Six-Finger Mountain crumbled, the already turbulent realm grew still more unstable.
Deep chasms opened throughout the Blood Absolute Realm. Many caught-off-guard Blood Race members screamed as they fell in. In barely a dozen breaths, who knew how many lives within the realm had withered away.
The entire world presented a scene of Apocalypse.
The Blood Race beneath the Star Constellation realm were overwhelmed by terror. They had no idea what was happening; they knew only that death kept appearing all around them.
The six Blood Race Sunlights were in a frantic scramble. By position, the valley they occupied lay where the palm joined the arm. Now, with Six-Finger Mountain collapsing, countless boulders of every size came crashing down upon them. Yet they did not dare dodge, because they were exerting all their strength to activate the Ancestral Artifact's power.
