Lu Ye escaped the Ladder Cloud traps, joined forces with Song Weiwei, and was bound to Su Yan by a Concord Knot while helping her protect the Four-Eared Realm. After securing a Mirror Realm and reaching the last refuge in the collapsing Starry Sky Fragment, Lu Ye and Su Yan fought over the Dao Pools as Ri Yan and Wuyue attacked their rivals.

• Lu Ye escaped the Ladder Cloud traps with Ning Gu and Junior Sister Shuang, then parted from them and searched for a companion.
• Lu Ye rescued the wounded Song Weiwei, helped her kill Bing Yuan, and heard her confession about abandoning her senior sister.
• Lu Ye and Song Weiwei encountered Su Yan guarding the Four-Eared Realm, but Su Yan bound Lu Ye to herself with a Concord Knot that made their lives dependent on each other.
• Lu Ye and Su Yan helped defend the realm as cultivators gathered for an Exotic Treasure, and Su Yan let a Ghost Cultivator take the treasure while Song Weiwei left Lu Ye after wounding him.
• Lu Ye gave Su Yan his Star Abyss Coins and learned her spatial techniques, while Su Yan arranged for Consort Rong to receive Dao Blood and become pregnant.
• Lu Ye and Su Yan obtained a Mirror Realm for the Four-Eared Realm, then reached the last surviving area of the Starry Sky Fragment and claimed a Dao Pool.
• Ri Yan and Wuyue seized Lu Ye and Su Yan’s Dao Pool, but Lu Ye and Su Yan escaped Wuyue’s bottle and agreed to cooperate temporarily with Ri Yan.
• Lu Ye and Su Yan attacked the Star Beast pair, then moved against the Blood Race and Insect Race pair as Ri Yan and Wuyue badly wounded Ning Gu and Junior Sister Shuang.

Lu Ye and Su Yan defeated Ri Yan, escaped the Star Abyss, and returned to Variegated, where Lu Ye studied its Dao Patterns and began preparing for Merging Dao. The stretch ended with him enduring the painful inscription of Divine Edge into his Dao Bones.

• Ning Gu used his Great Seal against Lu Ye, but Ri Yan and Wuyue trapped Ning Gu and Junior Sister Shuang before Ri Yan attacked them.
• Lu Ye revealed himself to Su Yan, killed the Blood Race cultivator with her, and took his binding Exotic Treasure.
• The Mud Star Beast swallowed Ri Yan and Wuyue, while Lu Ye and Su Yan entered its pocket space and destroyed it from within.
• Ri Yan, Wuyue, and Blood Fiend fought the Jellyfish Star Beast’s puppets, but Lu Ye and Su Yan joined them and killed Ri Yan after Wuyue fell.
• Qi sent Lu Ye and Su Yan away as the new Sons of the Star Abyss, but her influence drove Su Yan to use Nirvana and become a Phoenix Egg.
• Su Yan emerged from the egg, then traveled with Lu Ye toward a Star Abyss Summons before entering its gate and giving him her Phoenix Feather.
• Lu Ye returned to Variegated, met Chen Gushan and He Linglong in Boundless City, and gained access to the four families’ Dao Pattern Pavilions.
• Lu Ye recorded Variegated’s Dao Patterns, refined Divine Edge, and began inscribing it into his Dao Bones to advance to Merging Dao.

Lu Ye found Variegated’s route home, drove back the Twin Demon Race, and mobilized its people and resources to defend the starry sky. After gathering support across the threatened regions, he used a deception to trigger and trap a full-scale invasion, but the Star Abyss Will struck him down.

• Lu Ye advanced to Merging Dao, learned how to guide Variegated toward his home starry sky, and sent cultivators to search for the route.
• Lu Ye returned to the Star Abyss Gate, killed the Twin Demon leaders, and brought three thousand Variegated cultivators through to help defend the starry sky.
• Lu Ye joined Gu Sheng and the Phantom Extinction defenders, helped Chen Wulei advance to Dao Fusion, and secured Dao Artifacts from the Insect, Blood, and Giant Races.
• Lu Ye traveled to the Myriad Phenomena Sea, reunited with Nine Radiance and Hua Ci, and prepared the defenders for another invasion.
• Lu Ye and the Dancing Maiden staged a battle that convinced Star Abyss scouts the starry sky was weakened, while Hua Ci helped evacuate those unable to fight.
• Lu Ye and his clone crossed into Star Abyss disguised as scouts and falsely reported to Hai Chen that the invasion had succeeded.
• Hai Chen ordered a full-scale invasion, but Lu Ye trapped the attackers around the gate with his Blood Sea and helped the defenders kill them.
• The Star Abyss Will gathered scattered Dao Power into a sphere that destroyed Lu Ye’s Blood Sea and blasted him into the Myriad Phenomena Sea.

Lu Ye contained the Star Abyss invasions, fought to keep the Inner Realm at bay, and used the Blood Ancestor’s corpse to channel Square Inch Mountain’s power into repairing the Star Abyss Gate. The gate closed, but the Star Abyss Will’s punishment melted Lu Ye away, leaving a golden egg where he had vanished.

• Lu Ye negotiated with Hai Chen to regulate the Star Abyss invasion, then visited Heavenly Dipper and Square Inch Mountain to support its defenders and help cultivators advance.
• Lu Ye returned to Nine Provinces, reunited with Yiyi and Amber, and arranged for Little Nine to protect the Four-Eared Realm and teach his Dao Body.
• Lu Ye met Yun Shiwang, learned that the Puling Star System’s gate had reopened, and killed a Corpse Race Dao Integration cultivator who had emerged from it.
• Lu Ye and Yun Shiwang defended the unstable Puling gate until Yun Shiwang forcibly refined the Heavenly Pivot Sword and became its Sword Slave, agreeing to guard the gate for thirty years.
• After realizing the Blood Ancestor’s restored corpse could let him wield Square Inch Mountain’s origin power, Lu Ye traveled across the starry sky with the corpse and spent years preparing to repair the gate.
• Lu Ye arrived at Puling with Square Inch Mountain and began feeding its origin into the Star Abyss Gate, while Hua Ci, Su Yuqing, Nine Radiance, Yiyi, Amber, and others gathered nearby.
• Lu Ye closed the Star Abyss Gate, but azure light from the Star Abyss Will melted the Blood Ancestor’s corpse and then Lu Ye, leaving a faintly golden patterned egg where he had vanished.
