Lu Ye helped Yuan Xi City escape Mirage Spirit Pattern’s illusions, then joined Yuan Xi in the Snow Plain conflict and secured victories over rival cities. The arc ended with Xiaoyue revealing herself as Howling Moon after ambushing Lu Ye and telling him she would wait in the Inner Realm.

• Lu Ye negotiated with Mirage Spirit Pattern, exposed its true form with Huan Qing’s help, and secured its Uniting Dao Pearl fragments and innate Secret Technique for Yuan Xi City.
• Huan Qing revealed that using the Brahma Eye had awakened a Blood Curse, and Lu Ye promised to seek a way to save her.
• Fu Wei’s divination showed the Talent Tree fighting Ba Qiu in the future, and Lu Ye used the Talent Tree to heal Fu Wei’s wound.
• Lu Ye and Yuan Xi joined the Snow Plain war, where they destroyed a hostile city and killed its City Lord and cultivators.
• Yuan Xi and Lu Ye helped an allied city defeat an enemy city, then teamed up with Luo Feng and Xiaoyue against another weakened city.
• Lu Ye realized Xiaoyue knew the target city’s defenses were compromised, while Yuan Xi chose to keep her alliance with Luo Feng despite his concealed information.
• As Xiaoyue’s forces captured the city, Lu Ye killed a bearded ally who ambushed him and several other attackers.
• Xiaoyue subdued Lu Ye, refused to explain her attack, and told him she would wait for him in the Inner Realm, revealing herself as Howling Moon.

Lu Ye and Yuan Xi City survived Governor City’s pressure, seized a Mystic Moon Ice Lotus Lotus Seedling, and used its poison to break a Desolate-tier City. Yuan Xi City absorbed the spoils and agreed to consider City Lord Zhao’s proposal for affiliation, while Lu Ye discovered the Lotus Seedling feeding on Dao Fish.

• Xiaoyue revealed herself as Howling Moon and attacked Lu Ye, but he killed her, helped Yuan Xi defeat her allies, and destroyed Xiaoyue City’s Uniting Dao Pearl.
• Yuan Xi City rose to Flood-tier after Yuan Xi merged in Xiaoyue City’s pearl fragments, then hid near a maturing Mystic Moon Ice Lotus as Governor City’s forces and nearby cities threatened it.
• Lu Ye refused shelter to Governor City’s messenger, and the ensuing battle led him to kill the Army Supervisor who had entered Yuan Xi City while Yuan Xi City escaped under Huan Qing’s command.
• Yuan Xi confronted City Lord Zhao over Lu Ye and You Die, then accepted Lian into Yuan Xi City and had Lu Ye use the Talent Tree to burn the Blood Curse from Huan Qing’s bloodline.
• Yuan Xi City allied with City Lord Zhao’s forces, and Lu Ye seized the Lotus Seedling while Yuan Xi and Lian fought off its defenders.
• Lu Ye and Lian used the Lotus Seedling’s poisonous mist to weaken a Protective Grand Array, enabling Yuan Xi’s forces to defeat the Desolate-tier City’s defenders and claim its Uniting Dao Pearl fragments.
• Yuan Xi merged the fragments into her city’s pearl and gave Zhao his agreed share, then agreed to consider affiliating his city with Yuan Xi City.
• Lu Ye found the recovering Lotus Seedling eating Dao Fish in the Dao Pool and asked Fan Wu to monitor it.

Lu Ye won a Battle Arena death match against Spiritual Eye, used his winnings to advance, and continued fighting alongside Yuan Xi and Lingfeng City. As Yuan Xi’s forces attacked another Desolate-tier City, a hidden enemy plan targeted her, with two more Uniting Dao Cities closing in.

• Lu Ye arranged a death match against Spiritual Eye, defeated him with the Spring Radiance Sword shattered, and gave his winnings to Fu Wei.
• Lu Ye escaped Uniting Dao cultivators who confronted him outside the Arena, then used his winnings to inscribe his ninth Divine Edge Dao Pattern and advance to the Merging Dao Ninth Level.
• Lu Ye learned that an unknown swordsman wielding a Supreme Treasure was destroying Uniting Dao Cities, and he warned Yuan Xi that her city could not withstand the attacker.
• Yuan Xi, Lu Ye, and Lian joined Lingfeng City’s attack on Ying Fei City in the You Ming Cold Current Beehive, where Lu Ye killed an enemy Body Cultivator and disrupted the enemy’s deployment.
• The handsome young man directing Ying Fei’s forces summoned Uniting Dao reinforcements, but Yuan Xi transformed Black Lotus into armor and killed Ying Fei and two other cultivators.
• The hidden enemy arranged for Ying Fei City’s Second Vice City Lord to take the City Lord’s place, while Lu Ye and his allies continued fighting as two more enemy Uniting Dao Cities approached.

Yuan Xi and Lu Ye survived a betrayal, destroyed Lingfeng City, and gathered Uniting Dao Pearl fragments while pursuing their own gains. During Blood Calamity’s invasion, Lu Ye and Yuan Xi fought across the battlefield until the deaths and violence revealed the Starry Sky Chessboard.

• Yuan Xi and Lu Ye escaped the pursuing cities, with Lu Ye lending his Dao Power to sustain her second-form Dao Soldier as she defeated Chang Ming’s forces.
• Ni Chiluan threatened Yuan Xi City, but Yuan Xi reached an agreement with her, then destroyed Ying Fei City’s Uniting Dao Pearl and discovered Thunderclap’s role in the betrayal.
• Yuan Xi arrived too late to save Lingfeng City, destroyed its Uniting Dao Pearl, and later led the salvage of its remains and four other cities for Yuan Xi City.
• Lu Ye developed a saber technique and began nurturing a new Dao Soldier from a sheath forged by Elder Qi, while Yuan Xi confronted Thunderclap and extracted compensation from Thin Bamboo City.
• Blood Calamity opened an Insect Path through which hundreds of enemy cities attacked Thin Bamboo’s side, and Yuan Xi led her companions into the battle as Lu Ye and his Clone destroyed enemy Uniting Dao Pearls.
• Jiao, a powerful Son of the Star Abyss, pursued Lu Ye and attacked Yuan Xi’s group, but Yuan Xi and her companions wounded him while Lu Ye froze him with his Sacred Nature.
• Yuan Xi fought Jiao alongside Yun Ke and Luo Molie as Lu Ye’s group noticed blood threads crossing the battlefield, and an ancient voice announced that the Starry Sky Chessboard’s Rules had been fulfilled.
