Jiang Liang awakened twin Martial Souls, trained under Sword Mother, and gathered power through Immortal Herbs and Soul Rings. After forming bonds with the Shui sisters and defeating Dugu Yan, he settled at Dugu Bo’s Herb Garden to cultivate and deepen his connection with the Cold Moon Sword.

• Jiang Liang awakened the silver-haired Sword Mother and the Cold Moon Sword, tested at Innate Full Soul Power, and began learning Sword Cultivation.
• Jiang Liang visited Dugu Bo and offered to help control the Dugu Family’s poison in exchange for access to the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well’s herbs.
• Jiang Liang absorbed several Immortal Herbs and endured the well’s clashing ice and fire energies before returning to Heaven Dou City.

• Jiang Liang made Dugu Yan call him big brother, admitted that he liked her, and resumed cultivating with Sword Mother at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.

Jiang Liang returned to Nuoding City, joined the academy, and clashed with Yu Xiaogang and Tang San while protecting Xiao Wu. After gaining his third Soul Ring, he displayed his sword skills at the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena, earned a Silver Soul Badge, and returned to Nuoding City with Yue Guan.

• Jiang Liang returned to Nuoding City, reunited with Ma Xiunuo, and refused Yue Guan and Xue Qinghe’s offers to leave for Spirit City or Heaven Dou City.
• Jiang Liang enrolled at Nuoding Academy, moved into a dormitory with Xiao Wu, and became the work-study students’ ally after helping her defeat upperclassmen.
• Jiang Liang beat Yu Xiaogang after challenging his authority, then forced Tang Hao to flee when Sword Mother struck him with Sword Qi while protecting Xiao Wu.
• Jiang Liang defeated Xiao Chenyu’s group and Tang San, exposed Yu Xiaogang’s planned Soul Ring for Tang San and criticized his theories, while Yu Xiaogang secretly vowed revenge.

• Sword Mother taught Jiang Liang Sword Flight, and he briefly flew on the Cold Moon Sword before traveling with Yue Guan to the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena.
• Competing as Cold Sword Immortal, Jiang Liang defeated Black Tiger and then won repeated matches with one sword, earning a Silver Soul Badge after defeating a level-fifty-one Soul King.
• Yue Guan congratulated Jiang Liang on earning the Silver Soul Badge and took him to eat before they returned to Nuoding City.

Jiang Liang advanced to Soul Emperor, took Ah Yin’s Spirit Bone, and drew the Ice God’s attention before returning to Heaven Dou City. There he clashed with Yu Tianheng and Liu Erlong, while making plans to join Martial Soul Academy and reconnecting with the Skywater girls.

• Jiang Liang returned to Nuoding Academy, defeated Tang San in the graduation competition, and left for Heaven Dou City after rejecting Yue Guan’s summons to Spirit City.
• Jiang Liang took Ah Yin and her hundred-thousand-year Spirit Bone from the hidden chamber, escaped Tang Hao’s attack, and fused with the bone to reach level sixty.
• Jiang Liang killed a Ghost Ice Spine Beast for his sixth Soul Ring, and Snow Empress brought him before the Ice God’s decree as Sword Mother protected him.
• Jiang Liang reached Heaven Dou City with Ice Empress, revealed his six black Soul Rings to Dugu Bo, and reunited with Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, Shui Bing’er, and Shui Yue'er.
• Jiang Liang defeated Qin Ming after refusing to apologize to Yu Tianheng, then used Yue Guan’s Elder Token to end the City Patrol Army’s intervention.
• Jiang Liang invited Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling to join his team at Martial Soul Academy and challenged Liu Erlong, defeating her and confronting her about Yu Xiaogang’s hidden knowledge of their kinship.

Jiang Liang guided Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, Shui Bing'er, and Shui Yue'er through their Immortal Herb breakthroughs, then gained the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Spirit Bones. He reunited with Xiao Wu in Suotuo City, brought Ning Rongrong into his group, and left Dai Mubai injured after a fight at the Rose Hotel.

• Jiang Liang helped the Skywater Team earn Bronze Soul Badges, returned to Dugu Bo’s residence, and tried to reassure Dugu Yan about Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er.
• Jiang Liang led Dugu Bo, Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, Shui Bing'er, and Shui Yue'er to the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, where he chose suitable Immortal Herbs for the women.
• Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, Shui Bing'er, and Shui Yue'er absorbed their Immortal Herbs, evolved their Martial Souls, and made major breakthroughs in Soul Power.
