Tyrion Lannister looked at his uncle, Kevan Lannister.

The figure clad in his father's armor looked like a god about to be sacrificed in the firelight.

The shouts of battle outside drew ever closer, and the roars of the Riverlands knights could be heard clearly.

"Tywin Lannister!!"

"Find him!"

"Kill him!"

Kevan Lannister put on the lion-crested helmet, concealing every trace of expression.

"You! Protect him!"

"Take him and break out through the south! Quickly!"

The red-cloaked guards froze.

Tyrion Lannister froze as well. Sprawled over the horse's back, he stared at his uncle in disbelief.

"No! Uncle!"

He finally came to his senses and shrieked.

"This is Father's order! He told me to stay with you!"

Kevan Lannister turned around.

He reached out and gave Tyrion Lannister's shoulder a heavy pat.

Through the visor of the helmet, Tyrion Lannister felt as though he could see his uncle's eyes.

There was no cold calculation
