The Battle of the Flood Dragon and the Whale

Golden Narcissus wanted to go along.

This decision caught everyone by surprise.

The Seventh and Eighth Chiefs had not expected it either. This had never been part of their plan.

"Ninth Sister, why are you going out?"

"We need you to remain on the island and keep the grand formation running."

Golden Narcissus bowed to the Seventh and Eighth Chiefs.

Her attitude was utterly resolute.

"Seventh Brother, Eighth Brother, I've made up my mind."

"Bliss Island will have to rely on the two of you to hold the fort."

Lin Fei frowned inwardly.

He vaguely felt that Golden Narcissus did not want to leave merely to rescue the First Chief and the others.

She was most likely doing it for the appearance of the Immortal Island.

If the other chiefs stopped her, she might not be able to go to the Immortal Island.

Now that so many chiefs were trapped outside, this was her best chance to leave.

But doing so was far too risky.

There were countless powerful demonic beasts in the Myriad Demon Sea.

Aside from those besieging Bliss Island, many more demonic beasts were attacking other islands.

Even if the Immortal Island had appeared—

with spatial turbulence surging about and teleportation impossible, they could only fly there.

Along the way, they would very likely encounter attacks from Demon Gods.

He did not try to dissuade her, because Golden Narcissus would never listen to him.

Seeing this, the Seventh Chief stopped trying to persuade her as well.

Having one more person to help was always a good thing.

"Ninth Sister, then you must be careful. If you cannot defeat the demonic beasts, retreat back to the island immediately."

Golden Narcissus nodded slightly and glanced at Lin Fei.

"Let's go!"

Lin Fei and Golden Narcissus flew toward the outside
