Some exceptional artifact refiners could even combine Dao patterns to condense Great Dao True Intent they had never comprehended themselves, producing spirit artifacts of different attributes.

Some wicked cultivators of the demonic path took a shortcut to forge stronger spirit artifacts.

They killed Cultivators at the Nascent Soul Realm or above, then bound their souls into artifacts and refined them into spirit artifacts.

Cruel as this method was, and intolerable to the righteous path, it did make the refining process easier.
