Watching the Jonin deliver their earnest analysis, Qingwu finally lost it. "Pfft—hahahaha!"
A scene instantly played out in his head.
"Wha?! What plan?!" Naruto's voice shot up, his blond hair practically bristling. His face screamed disbelief that they had been plotting behind his back.
"We had a plan?"
"We... probably did?"
Rock Lee and Kiba were just as bewildered, looking at each other with nothing but confusion in their eyes.
"We made a plan?! To act weak and fool the enemy?!"
Ino, Sakura, Tenten, and Hinata froze too, exchanging glances. "Huh?!"
Ino raised an eyebrow. "Weren't we talking about which village's boys looked the scariest? What plan?"
Sakura nodded. "Yeah, where did this talk about a plan come from?"
Blushing, Hinata quietly agreed. "Y-yes... exactly..."
Tenten couldn't help laughing. "What were you boys secretly cooking up? And now you're trying to pin it on us?"
"A secret plan?!" The three hotheaded idiots grew even more confused, shaking their heads in unison. "We didn't have one!"
Only a moment later.
Naruto completely blew up, planting his hands on his hips and yelling at Sasuke and Sakura. "Sasuke! Sakura! You're awful! You worked out a plan without telling me?! Do you think I'm an outsider?!" Resentment at being left out welled up inside him.
Even without a leg to stand on, he had to start by sounding indignant.
At first, Sakura was utterly lost. Then she apparently decided Sasuke must have secretly made a plan. As expected, Sasuke was the reliable one. She immediately put her hands on her hips and snapped, "Yes, we made a plan! You wouldn't stop talking over there. How were we supposed to tell you?"
Naruto instantly looked deeply wronged and utterly heartbroken. "Wah... fine, so you really did have a plan?! You're not even bothering to
