Nirvana: Can We Leave the Land Alone? Qingwu: It's All Ancestral Property. We Can't Waste It

“True Self, we found the Moon Channel.”

"Finally found it?" Qingwu murmured. He had received Nirvana's telepathic message. After extensive investigations by the Shadow Guard and Nirvana's personal search, they had finally located the Hyuga Ancestral Land.

"Whoosh~ Let's go..." A black cube flickered beside him.

Qingwu stepped inside. When he emerged again, he was already beside Nirvana in the Land of Sea.

Nirvana greeted him. "You're here, Original. The entrance is inside... follow me." He got straight to the point.

"Sure," Qingwu said. They were the same person. Why bother with pleasantries?

He followed Nirvana.

"Ah~ No matter how glorious a clan was, it amounted to nothing before the endless passage of time..."

After enduring countless changes, wars, and geological upheavals over the ages, the Hyuga Ancestral Land no longer resembled its former self. It was nothing but ruins now.

According to the clan's records, back when the Hyuga Clan was still called Otsutsuki, their ancestral land had been in the Land of Sea.

Later, disagreements in ideology had split the Otsutsuki who remained in the Ninja World into two branches. One inherited Hamura's physique and settled in the Land of Water, becoming the Kaguya Clan.

The other inherited Hamura's eyes, moved to the Land of Fire, and changed their name to Hyuga. This lineage continued the Otsutsuki tradition of dividing into a Main Family and a branch family.

However.

All of that had happened centuries ago.

Their Clan Grounds had moved again.

The Hyuga had been living in Konoha for several decades already.

Back to the matter at hand.

While Qingwu's thoughts wandered, he followed Nirvana to a spot where they stopped before a Cave as tall as a person.

Looking at the shabby place, Qingwu could not help asking, "This is it? Nirvana, are you sure?"

Nirvana shrugged. “What do you think? I wouldn't lie to myself. True Self, are you really going?”

"I'm worried it's still too early. The Moon Otsutsuki Clan probably hasn't had its civil war yet. Getting ganged up on could kill you, you know~"

"How about we build up our strength a little longer?"

Qingwu shook his head. "No. Now is the perfect time to act, before the Otsutsuki Branch Family on the moon goes insane and sacrifices the entire clan's Byakugan to create the Purple Tenseigan."

"The Yellow Giant Tenseigan can move the moon. It's probably their last resort, something they can't use lightly. The Otsutsuki themselves just have numbers on their side. No big deal. They're all pushovers..."

"My life form may not have evolved to Six Paths level, but with all my abilities, my combat strength is definitely there..."

Nirvana nodded. "True. With spatial teleportation, you won't come out worse for wear no matter what, especially with that big shot tagging along."

He even scraped up a meter of soil beneath the Spring Grounds and packed it away. And so, Qingwu's Small World gained a deep pool that could block detection and trap people in a Memory Prison.

Nirvana's mouth twitched. “True Self, isn't that going a bit far?” He could understand taking the spring water, but even the land?

That was a bit much...

Qingwu waved a hand. "You don't understand. You never know how expensive running a household is until you do it yourself. This is all good stuff. We can't waste it..."

With the spring water no longer obstructing them.

The two made smooth progress.

"Puff, puff, puff~"

Giant Crab Guards launched an attack on him.

Qingwu deftly dodged. "Hehe~ Can't hit me... still can't hit me... activate Ghostblade... footwork... footwork..."

"Bang, bang, bang~"

The giant crabs pursued relentlessly.

"Ahahaha~ Come on... come catch me... if you catch me... I'll let you, hehehe..."

Qingwu really was an obnoxious bastard.

And so he instructed his descendants.

If the world his brother Hagoromo created ever strayed from the Way of the Ninja, they were to destroy it.

Later, even Tailed Beasts and the Summoning Holy Lands.

Became involved in the wars.

Countless lives were lost.

This led the Ōtsutsuki Clan on the moon to conclude that the ninjas on Earth were destabilizing elements that threatened the world's peaceful order.

They developed differing views on how to handle the Ninja World.

The Main Family believed they only needed to monitor the Ninja World and prevent the Sealing on the moon from being broken. They could leave the ninjas on the ground to their own devices, using deterrence and guidance when necessary.

The branch family was more extreme. They believed that leaving these ninjas alive would destroy the world's peace, so they should annihilate them all and create a new world, one guided by their Moon Otsutsuki Clan. Then they would become its new gods.

A race of gods.

Afraid that the branch family would take things to extremes, the Main Family forcibly brought all its members back to the moon, leaving only some neutral clansmen in the Ninja World. This was the origin of the Hyuga and Kaguya clans.
