"Shi Yi hadn't just set one record. That last one was too dangerous. Look at this one: with nothing but the strength of his flesh, he leapt into the air without using Bone Text and reached a mountain peak in a single bound."

Uncle Hammer pointed at the stone tablet. Shi Yi's name was there, beside yet another record—a record no one could break.

"That's incredible! One step, and he shot straight into the sky, landing on a mountain peak. Just how terrifying must his explosive power be?"

A pretty young girl beside them exclaimed, her face full of astonishment.

"It's enough to make your blood run cold. That kind of explosive power is horrifying."

Lord Bird marveled, too. Others could only gape in amazement, but he understood that to pull off a feat like that, one had to reach the extreme. It wouldn't have been so surprising in another creature, but this was a human—a race born frail.

"Uncle Hammer, Lord Bird, Grandpa Jingbi, go find that mountain. Once you track it down, I'll take a single step and break his record."

Little One said that since he couldn't find the Beast King, he might as well see how high he could jump.

"Jump up there and stand still. I'll leap over your head."

Su Ye said.

"..."

Little One looked at Su Ye, clearly displeased. "Why do I have to jump first, so you can leap over my head?"

"That's the best way to prove I can jump a meter higher than you."

Su Ye said earnestly.

"I'm one and a half meters tall."

"Then I'll jump one and a half meters higher."

But the moment Little One saw the group, his eyes lit up greedily. He agreed at once, then darted over, almost as if he couldn't wait to throw himself at them.

Grandpa Jingbi, Lord Bird, and the others all froze. He went over after one call—what kind of creature was he?

"Little brother, I heard you damaged the passage in the Void God Realm and got a Precious Bone. Could you let us have a look?" the young man in front asked with a smile.

"Sure!"

Little One smiled sweetly. Without a trace of hesitation or caution, he handed the Precious Bone right over.

"That silly kid's far too innocent."

Lord Bird couldn't help saying.

Su Ye's mouth twitched when he heard that. "That fellow's wicked to the bone. He's not innocent at all. Those guys have run into a real oddball. They're bound to suffer."

Nearby, Little One and the others were already quarreling. A gang of ruffians had surrounded a frail child, looking for all the world like a pack of hungry wolves surrounding a little lamb.

What they couldn't imagine was that the little lamb was really a vicious dragon wearing a sheep's skin.

"So you're going to rob me by force?"

Little One intercepted those who were trying to leave and asked, his expression turning unfriendly.

The group's faces darkened even further. He actually dared to block their way? He truly didn't know what was good for him. Still, they didn't let their guard down. He was a record-breaker, after all. Runes appeared in their hands, and they prepared to subdue Little One.

Countless runes whirled through the air, each one brimming with formidable power. If this weren't the Initial Land, the spectacle they unleashed would have been even more terrifying.

Yet faced with this dreadful rune attack, Little One showed not the slightest fear. Instead, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. He flashed aside, dodging the attack, while runes appeared in his hands. Two silver moons formed, then fused into a silver Millstone that ground toward the group.

"Rumble!"

The void thundered. The runes shattered, and the whole group was sent flying. Little One charged forward and snatched his Precious Bone back.

"Clang."

"Clang."

At that moment, red light streaked across the sky with terrifying force. Eighteen crimson rays flew toward them, ringing like metal and trailing great swaths of rosy light. Their aura was astonishing, carrying the savage menace of primordial beasts that chilled the soul.

A precious artifact.

Someone had secretly activated a precious artifact, enveloping Little One in its reach and aiming to kill him in one blow.

These people had dared to come after Little One's Precious Bone because they'd made thorough preparations. Even though they knew he was only a Milk Baby, they'd still been extremely cautious, leaving one person with a precious artifact hidden nearby, ready to strike at any moment.

"What a powerful treasure!"

The crowd cried out, gazing at the streaks of rosy light overhead. They were eighteen crimson feathers, each more than ten meters long. Flying in like this, they resembled eighteen blood-red spears, their savage aura astonishing.

They had been refined from the precious feathers of a rare vicious bird. Now they covered the sky, ready to kill Little One and leave him nowhere to run.

Su Ye looked at Lord Bird beside him.

Lord Bird glanced at Su Ye, speechless. "This is the Void God Realm. Everything here is made of spirit. Where would we get melon seeds? And if there were any, they definitely wouldn't be ordinary seeds."

"That's why I asked you."

Su Ye said with a smile.

Lord Bird looked at Su Ye.

Su Ye looked at Lord Bird.

Their eyes met. Neither said a word, yet both understood what the other meant.

"Interesting."

Lord Bird suddenly smiled. With a wave of his hand, a handful of crystalline melon seeds appeared in his palm.

Su Ye waved his hand, sending runes flying as he constructed a small table beside himself.

Lord Bird set the seeds on it.

Su Ye took one without a hint of courtesy. The melon seeds gleamed like jade, as if carved from the finest jade, and shimmered with a hazy glow.

He popped one into his mouth and nodded. "Not bad, but there's no flavor. They'd be even tastier if they were fried with salt and pepper."

"They really have melon seeds?"

Big Gold Dog saw that there really were melon seeds and froze in disbelief. The Void God Realm was much like the real world, with plants and trees of its own, but the plants and trees here...

Never mind. Eat first, ask questions later.

Big Gold Dog grabbed the seeds and started eating, watching the battle in the distance as he munched.

Uncle Hammer and the others weren't shy, either. They snacked and watched the show, occasionally offering their "expert advice."
