Seven-Colored Divine Light

"It's only a tiny little record. Look at you all, none of you can keep your cool. Your minds are far too weak. Today, I'll break this record with one leg. Google Search Reader"

Little One's babyish face was full of arrogant confidence as he spoke.

He came to an open space and, looking at the dazed fellows around him, said earnestly, "I'm warning you, you'd better keep your distance."

"Pfft."

Someone couldn't help snickering. Looking at Little One's serious expression, he laughed. "Milk Baby, are you joking?"

"Believe it or not, that's up to you."

Little One didn't explain. He was thinking about the technique Su Ye had taught him. Although he hadn't tried it before, he felt certain it would work. He just needed to prepare properly if he wanted to master it completely.

Seeing Little One standing there without moving, the man from earlier laughed and asked, "Hey, Xiao Wa, weren't you going to jump? Why are you frozen? Do you need some encouragement and applause? We'll give you some."

"Who are you calling Xiao Wa?"

Little One looked at him displeased, his small face serious. "I'm not little. I'm eight years old."

"..."

The man froze. Was eight years old supposed to be old?

Little One ignored him. Seeing that no one around him intended to move away, he stopped trying to persuade them. He took a deep breath, raised one foot, and stood on one leg.

He bent forward slightly. Then, with a BOOM, a terrifying force erupted beneath his foot. He shot into the sky like an arrow loosed from its bow.

The ground kept splitting apart, enormous cracks rapidly spreading in every direction. The people nearby fell straight into them, their cries of terror ringing out without pause.

Everyone in the distance stared in horror at the shattered ground. The area had become a vast, fissured crater—far more terrifying than the crater Da Wa had made with his step.

Crack!

The nearby passage, which shimmered with a soft glow, began to break apart. Then it collapsed, burying some of the people who had just been teleported in.

Buzz.

The void rippled, and a stone tablet appeared. The words "I Love Milk" vanished, replaced by "Loves Drinking Beast Milk."

Quite a few people gaped at the sight.

The high-jump record hadn't been broken, but the record for smashing the Initial Land's passage had. And the passage had been caught in the crossfire for no reason at all.

"Don't let that guy get expelled. At least, not yet."

Su Ye came to Lord Bird, whose face looked terrible, and whispered, "If that guy gets expelled too soon, things will get boring."

"The Void God Realm has its own rules and order. We can't interfere as we please. If that fellow keeps destroying things, he'll definitely be expelled."

Lord Bird said that although he could interfere to some extent, doing so would cost him dearly. Besides, he really wanted to expel that shameless fellow right away. Couldn't he go somewhere farther away? Why unleash his power right next to the passage? Was he trying to pick a fight with it?

By then, Little One was still rushing toward the firmament, breaking through layer after layer of clouds as if he meant to tear the sky open. Those below could make out only a tiny speck, growing smaller and blurrier by the moment.

Buzz.

Suddenly, the void rippled and the phantom image of a stone tablet appeared. The record tablet had been broken. Seven-colored clouds spread across the sky, and endless radiance poured down, engulfing Little One.

"Is that... Seven-Colored Divine Light?"

Someone below looked at the seven-colored radiance surrounding Little One and cried out in shock, his face filled with disbelief.

"I never would've guessed. Seven-Colored Divine Light, of all things. His record must be extraordinary."

An ancestor from one of the great clans sighed, his deep-set eyes shining brightly.

"Seven-Colored Divine Light? What is that? A blessing?"

Someone asked in confusion.

Breaking a new record earned a gift from the Void God Realm. Sometimes it was a Treasure Art, sometimes divine radiance, sometimes precious liquid, or something else entirely...

In many people's eyes, this divine light looked only dazzling. It didn't seem as useful as a Precious Bone.

A powerful figure explained, "Seven colors are the source divine light that surpasses the five colors. It can cleanse the body and temper the primordial spirit. If you're lucky, you might even comprehend the Seven-Colored Dao."

"What are the five colors?"

A young disciple asked.

"The five colors are the Five Elements. The Five-Colored Peacock, Five-Colored Luan Bird, and Five-Colored Qilin all belong to the five colors. The seven colors combine the Way of the Five Elements with the Way of Yin and Yang. Pure-blooded Five-Colored Peacocks and Five-Colored Luan Birds are terrifying Fierce Beasts that can devour gods. The seven colors add Yin and Yang to the five, making them even more terrifying."

An ancestor spoke, looking at Little One bathing in the Seven-Colored Divine Light high above. His eyes were full of envy. A little Seven-Colored Divine Light might not be enough to glimpse the Seven-Colored Dao, but obtaining it would bring immeasurable benefits.

Su Ye felt a little guilty when he heard that. He glared at Grandpa Jingbi and snapped, "What's this got to do with me? I'm not the one who broke the record. Go ask the person who did it. Why are you asking me?"

Grandpa Jingbi narrowed his eyes. He was no ordinary figure and could see Su Ye's guilt, yet he still couldn't understand how the other had cheated without the Void God Realm's rules noticing—not even he could tell.

There was no denying that the Milk Baby's body was terrifying. But even if it had reached the absolute limit, or even surpassed it, the most it could draw down should have been the Five-Colored Divine Light. Yet what had descended now was the Seven-Colored Divine Light.

As the current controller of the Void God Realm, he knew just how difficult it was to draw down the Seven-Colored Divine Light. The body had to break through its limits, and the rules and order of the Void God Realm's Initial Land had to be broken as well.

Simply put, the power that fellow had just unleashed had already surpassed the restrictions of the Initial Land's rules. It was far beyond the power of the Blood-Moving Realm.
