"Boom."
"Bang."
"Boom."
Runes collided and precious light flashed through the air. Terrifying energy engulfed the entire area in an instant. One figure after another was blasted away, but even more rushed in to take their place.
The Void God Realm was mysterious and powerful, built by the ancient gods. As a passageway into the Void God Realm, this place was bound to contain immensely powerful Primal Runes—and extremely rare Void Runes at that.
A single Precious Bone had drawn the Four Great Families' covetous eyes. Now that all four Precious Bones had been gathered, they formed a complete Treasure Art. Even the ancestors of some great sects and mighty kingdoms could hardly keep calm.
Little One's tender face was full of indignation, but there was nothing he could do. He couldn't possibly hand over the Treasure Art.
"Just you wait. I'll remember this."
Little One glared indignantly at Su Ye and swung the Crimson Feather Treasure Fan in his hand. Scorching red light swept through the area, sending figure after figure who charged at him flying.
The Crimson Feather Treasure Fan wasn't an ordinary treasure. It was a powerful clan-guarding treasure, refined from the True Feathers of an exceptionally precious Primordial Remnant. Now that its power had erupted, it was terrifying beyond measure; even the ground was scorched into Lava.
Hum.
The void rippled. A Precious Bone floated in midair, glowing with a coarse light. One mysterious rune after another flew from within it, forming chains that swept toward Little One.
Rumble.
The void trembled, hazy light spreading through the air. A phantom mountain appeared, as if it were a divine mountain, suppressing heaven and earth.
Crackle.
Lightning flashed, weaving itself into the enormous phantom of a Fierce Beast. The beast was incomparably huge, radiating a dreadful aura as if it had come from the Primordial Era.
Mist blurred the air, and raindrops fell. A fine drizzle began to fall between heaven and earth.
This was the Void God Realm, a spiritual world. Naturally, it couldn't really rain. The raindrops were a Treasure Art that could sever perception and suppress flames.
The people attacking now were nothing like the Four Great Families from before. Among them were more than a few genuine figures of ancestor-level standing. Although they were suppressed to the Blood-Moving Realm, the Treasure Arts and treasures they wielded were extraordinary.
"What a powerful Treasure Art. They're all mine—all mine!"
There was no fear on Little One's face. Instead, he looked delighted, with even a hint of greed. These people wanted to seize his Treasure Art, but why shouldn't he seize theirs?
In the Initial Land, he was invincible.
The ferocious Milk Baby didn't choose to run. Instead, he charged at these people, wielding the Suanni Precious Technique in his left hand and the Crimson Feather Treasure Fan in his right.
"Now that's brutal. Arms and legs are flying everywhere."
Watching the battlefield, which looked like purgatory, Su Ye wore a bright smile. That Bear Child wanted to scheme against him? He was still far too green.
"Truly brutal. He smashed some big shot's head with a single slap."
"What was that? He actually grabbed a fairy's chest and burst it."
"How was he raised? He's far too vicious. How's he ever going to find a wife when he grows up?"
Lord Bird and Grandpa Jingbi kept gasping in astonishment. The more they watched, the more shaken they became. That little Milk Baby was practically a little Asura—his attacks were too ruthless.
"If you're not ruthless, you can't hold your ground."
Su Ye remained calm. Besides, that vicious Bear Child didn't know about any of those things. In his eyes, there were only enemies, and enemies could be killed. And as far as he was concerned, that was just localized fat—deformity. Bursting it was merely helping to correct it.
"Indeed."
The War Goddess nodded. Her beautiful eyes rested on Little One in the middle of the battlefield, and the more she watched him, the more she liked him. Only someone like him could go farther in the future and become an Undefeated Myth.
The War Goddess turned to Su Ye, her gaze deep, runes surfacing in her eyes. "You're no ordinary person either. That passageway was sturdy, yet you shattered it with ease. You even broke his record. Your body must be even stronger than his."
"Just a little stronger than him."
Su Ye replied with a smile.
"Let me see just how strong."
A blazing battle intent filled the War Goddess's beautiful eyes. She was called the War Goddess not only because she was powerful in battle, but also because she loved fighting.
Many people were surrounding that little Milk Baby. She disdained doing the same. Although she couldn't test that little Milk Baby, the person before her was no weaker than him—perhaps even stronger.
"What do you mean?"
Su Ye's expression shifted. He had a bad feeling about this.
The War Goddess said nothing and attacked at once. Her hand looked delicate, yet it held terrifying power. It punched through the air with a thunderous boom.
"Bang."
Su Ye and the War Goddess clashed palms. His body only swayed, and he didn't retreat a single step. The War Goddess, however, stepped back three paces, leaving deep footprints in the ground with every step.
"Little Girl, don't hold back. If you defeat him, I'll teach you a powerful Treasure Art."
Lord Bird was only too happy to fan the flames, cheering from the sidelines.
Su Ye immediately took offense. He glared at Lord Bird. "You old geezer, what did I ever do to you? Why are you doing this to me?"
Instead of stopping the fight, he was actually egging her on. What a rotten thing to do.
Lord Bird said indignantly, "How did you not offend me? You're wrecking things all over the place right in front of me. That's a blatant insult to my dignity."
As the ruler of the Void God Realm, he had to deal with these two hateful troublemakers damaging the passageway again and again. Restoring it every time came at a considerable cost.
"..."
Su Ye did feel that he'd been a little out of line. Then his eyes shifted, and he looked at the War Goddess. "I won't fight back. If you defeat me and get the Treasure Art, we can study it together."
"..."
Now it was Lord Bird's turn to be speechless. He hurriedly objected, "That won't do."
Su Ye sneered. "Why not? Are you going back on your word? If you dare, I'll spread the word that the dignified World Number Two broke his promise and deceived a young girl."
"You—"
Lord Bird was so angry that his whiskers bristled. Soon, he came to his senses and looked at Su Ye in confusion. "How do you know who I am?"
He didn't remember ever revealing his identity. In fact, he'd almost forgotten it himself.
"Secret."
Su Ye smiled mysteriously, then continued with a grin, "Of course, if you're willing to teach me some peerless heavenly arts, I might tell you."
Lord Bird narrowed his eyes and studied Su Ye. He'd initially thought the young man was merely unusual, but now it seemed he was far more than that. After a moment's thought, he said, "Teaching you a Treasure Art wouldn't be impossible."
Su Ye's eyes lit up. Though the man before him wasn't as powerful as the True Dragon among the Ten Fiends, he was second only to that True Dragon.
"I surrender."
Seeing the War Goddess charge toward him, Su Ye hurriedly raised his hands in surrender.
The War Goddess's exquisite face showed her displeasure. She hadn't fought him to defeat him; she wanted to test herself and see how she measured up to him in the Blood-Moving Realm. Yet he'd simply surrendered outright.
