The moment Su Ye stepped out of the assessment area, someone cried out in surprise.
At once, one by one, gazes turned toward the young boy emerging from the testing grounds. Light flashed in their eyes as they recognized him as the Da Wa from the Void God Realm.
Su Ye had never changed his appearance. After all, he hadn't been hunted like the Bear Child, so not many people knew who he was.
The Bear Child had changed his appearance because he'd done many things that enraged both gods and men—and had even beaten several powerful figures to death.
Hearing someone call him "Da Wa," Su Ye's face instantly darkened. He glared at the person who'd called out and said, "I'm warning you, don't go giving me random nicknames. I have a name."
The man wasn't offended. Instead, he asked with a smile, "Then what's your name?"
No one knew the true identities of either the Bear Child—that Milk Baby—or the "Da Wa" before them. After all, they had only spent a short time in the Void God Realm and hadn't left their real names on the Record Stele. There was no way to investigate.
"This young master is Su Ye. You can call me the Night Emperor."
Su Ye said this with an air of pride on his tender little face. That Big Gold Dog fellow couldn't bear the title of "Emperor," but he could.
"Night Emperor."
The crowd burst into laughter, thinking the little fellow was truly confident to dare call himself an emperor at such a young age.
An old man said with a smile, "Little fellow, 'Emperor' is an exceedingly revered title. Only the truly invincible dare call themselves that. Do you think you're invincible?"
