Ch. 261Scheming
Su Ye and Shi Hao negotiated for the God-Striking Stone’s Primal Runes, and Su Ye explained that the stone was only a descendant of a Ten Fiend. After leaving with the Witch, Su Ye revealed that Yue Chan and Qingyi’s apparent conflict could not truly sever their bond, so the Witch decided to turn Qingyi’s scheme against her.
- Shi Hao demanded Primal Runes from the God-Striking Stone, and Su Ye set a price for three of them.
- The God-Striking Stone revealed that its race reproduced by splitting, but Su Ye and Little Pagoda explained that it was not itself a true Ten Fiend.
- Su Ye left with the Witch, who told him she had offered to help Qingyi escape Yue Chan’s control in exchange for becoming his concubine.
- Su Ye explained that Yue Chan and Qingyi could not truly betray each other because separating would destroy their paths to the Great Dao.
- The Witch realized Yue Chan and Qingyi had manipulated her and vowed to turn their scheme against Qingyi.
