"Xu, the captain on the other side is stronger than the average Coordinator."
Draco frowned as he spoke, cutting into Xu De's train of thought.
"I can tell."
Xu De answered.
Of course he could. According to the simulation, they should have been able to take one of them down after fifteen exchanges, but now they had been forcibly stalled here.
"Why did you betray us!"
The instant Xu De finished speaking, the other side's accusatory shout came straight through.
"..."
Xu De had no interest in arguing that he was a natural person. He silently blocked the other side's laser signal and began thinking about how to break the deadlock.
On the other side, the captain whose signal had been blocked clicked his tongue in anger, then said, "Be careful. You all saw the combat footage just now. This guy's a little uncanny."
"Understood!"
The way this man used his two guns was superb, far beyond what an ordinary Coordinator was capable of.
Caution was still necessary.
Their three-man team might not count as elite, but their captain was still someone with a fair bit of hope of making it into the elite green uniforms.
He was absolutely not like the people Xu De had run into before, the ones who charged recklessly while convinced that naturals had to die.
Looking at the three units darting wildly in front of him, and at the Moebius units nimbly dodging while occasionally returning fire, the corners of Xu De's mouth lifted slightly.
It actually gave him a feeling from his old battlefields.
How did that saying go again? War. War never changed.
"Encirclement-kill formation."
After Xu De finished speaking, he connected to the comms of the Drake beneath him again.
"Drake-class, load high-explosive missiles. Fire when the timing is right."
