The enormous amount of Chakra that had suddenly appeared within Uzumaki Kuming's Mind's Eye of the Kagura immediately caught his attention. At the same time, Minato Namikaze, whose sensory abilities were exceptional, also detected the anomaly.
They both looked up at almost the same time, toward a spot somewhere in Loulan City.
"Jiuming, did you sense it? That Chakra!"
Minato Namikaze had sensed a powerful Chakra presence, but not the other one that had suddenly appeared. The sudden Chakra surge was immense enough to warrant his attention. He looked at Uzumaki Kuming with a questioning gaze.
"Yeah. Someone just appeared in Loulan City. Come with me and take a look."
Uzumaki Kuming pointed toward where the Chakra had appeared and hurried over.
At the underground center of Loulan City, Naruto Uzumaki slowly opened his eyes as he lay on the ground. The completely unfamiliar surroundings left him bewildered. He was in a vast shaft, so immense that when he looked up, he couldn't see where it ended.
"Where am I?" Naruto slowly sat up, scratching his head as he muttered to himself.
Naruto wore orange clothes, and a Konoha Forehead Protector was tied around his head. His blond hair glinted in the sunlight. A weapons pouch hung at his waist, and he carried a strangely shaped Kunai on his back. He had nothing else with him.
What stood out, though, was how handsome Naruto was. Unlike the Naruto everyone knew, this fourteen- or fifteen-year-old boy had no whisker-like markings on his cheeks.
