The White Zetsu's secret attack on the Senju Clan estate hadn't taken long, and none of the jutsu Senju Nawaki used had a particularly wide range. They hadn't attracted much attention.
At this point, many of the village's Jonin had been assigned to secret missions outside the village, leaving the Konoha Police Department responsible for security within its walls. However, Uchiha Fugaku, the department's chief, had been transferred away by Uzumaki Kuming.
It wasn't until Nawaki brought his gravely injured daughter to the hospital that a ninja realized the Senju family had been attacked by an unknown enemy inside the village. They hurried toward the Senju Clan estate.

"If his senses weren't so powerful, I'd think he had some special way of tracking us."
