Night gently embraced Konoha.
The streets were alight with lamps, and people came and went. Some couples walked hand in hand, while others sat alone.

Two deafening crashes rang out in quick succession from afar. Everyone on the street turned toward the source. A few seconds later, a gale roared in from beyond the village and swept across all of Konoha.
Even the Hokage Building, deep inside Konoha, was rocked by the gale. Its windows clattered loudly.
"They're here!"
"What is that?!"
Uzumaki Kuming sensed something speeding toward Konoha. The strange creature had caused the gale that had just swept through the village.
At Konoha's entrance, the ninja guarding the village had clearly noticed that something was wrong with the gale. They were just about to send someone out to investigate when several thick wooden spikes suddenly thrust up from the ground, impaling several guards.
"En—" The ninja guarding Konoha couldn't even send out a warning before they breathed their last.
A short while later, a massive ball of Chakra shot through the dense forest and slammed into Konoha's gates. The village's defensive barrier activated, and the ball of Chakra exploded with a thunderous boom. Flames filled the sky, illuminating half the night.
"Boom!!!"
The Tailed Beast Bomb blasted a hole in Konoha's barrier. Three figures then darted through the gates and disappeared into the streets.
In the Konoha office, Uzumaki Kuming saw flames rising high above the village gates and furrowed his brow. He didn't act rashly. He sensed that three people had entered Konoha, but their Chakra was unfamiliar; he had never encountered them before.
After entering Konoha, the three strangers raced toward Konoha Hospital. The hospital was their target!
