Yoriichi Namikaze blocked Konohamaru's attack with one hand and spoke softly. He had thought Konohamaru would recognize the difference in their abilities, but the other boy showed no intention of stopping. He quickly pulled back his fist, then lifted a leg and kicked straight at Yoriichi's face.
The powerful knee strike came with a fierce gust of wind, drawing another series of gasps from those around them.
Seeing that Konohamaru still refused to give up, Yoriichi decided there was no point in sparing the other boy's pride. He sprang up from his seat, braced both hands on the desk behind him, and pushed off hard. He flipped through the air to dodge the attack, then landed lightly on the desk.
He quickly jumped down from the desk and swung a punch at Konohamaru's face. Yoriichi's attack was extremely fast, but Konohamaru just barely managed to react, raising both arms to shield himself.
But just then, Konohamaru suddenly felt someone press against his chest. By the time he realized what was happening, he was already airborne.
As it turned out, Yoriichi's punch had only been a feint. Even though he was facing Konohamaru, whose strength was nowhere near his own, Yoriichi had no intention of holding back. While feinting with the punch, he quickly moved in close, grabbed one of Konohamaru's arms with both hands, and pressed his back against Konohamaru's chest before throwing him over his shoulder.
Yoriichi was clearly much shorter than Konohamaru, but Konohamaru could feel himself being flung up into the air.
