Senju Fujima returned with new powers and knowledge of the Otsutsuki, then gave Madara Uchiha a God Tree Fruit that drove his strength to the peak of the Six Paths realm.

• Tobirama Senju defeated Kirigakure while Senju Fujima forced Retto and Shamon to submit Sunagakure, and Hashirama Senju secured Kumogakure’s surrender.
• Kagami Uchiha, Jun Tianze, Might Je, and Tie Kui fought Iwagakure, and Madara Uchiha rescued Tie Kui before forcing Ōnoki and Mu to agree to peace.

After Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju defeated Jishiki Otsutsuki, Senju Fujima helped revive their dead clansmen and relatives. Madara brought the other great villages under Konoha’s rule, which began expanding to house their people as the group prepared for the Otsutsuki threat.

As the third stage began, Tie Kui recovered her memories and learned Madara Uchiha was her father, while the contestants fought over scarce food.

• Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju forced the village Kage to accept Konoha’s rules and hand over their techniques, then moved to absorb the remaining ninja villages.
• Senju Fujima revived Tajima Uchiha and Butsuma Senju, and Tajima apologized to Madara Uchiha before Madara married Kaori Yuhi.
• Konoha held its Chunin Exam, where candidates passed a written test and braved sharks and hidden dangers during the lake-crossing stage.
• Senju Fujima spotted the tower’s sealing trap and waited out the second exam, allowing his group to pass when the candidates inside were disqualified.
• Tie Kui awakened her Rinnegan and recovered her memories, then learned from Madara Uchiha that he was her father and had altered her memories.

Senju Fujima helped resolve Tie Kui and Hiruzen Sarutobi’s engagement, then built a family with Shizuka Uchiha before the Dragon Vein transported him to another time. After witnessing the Valley of the End battle, Fujima confronted Hagoromo and followed Kaguya Otsutsuki into the moon to learn about the Otsutsuki Clan.

• Senju Fujima stopped Tie Kui from taking her life, confessed his feelings to calm her, and later helped end her engagement to Hiruzen Sarutobi, who chose Biwako.
• Senju Fujima gave Hiruzen Sarutobi nine cloned Tailed Beasts to absorb, and Hiruzen gained Six Paths Chakra Mode while secretly vowing revenge on the Senju Clan.
• Senju Fujima and Shizuka Uchiha had a daughter named Tsunade, and later Fujima was sent to investigate the Dragon Vein’s power at Rōran.
• A rogue who looked exactly like Senju Fujima claimed the Dragon Vein’s power and vanished into it, carrying Fujima to another time, where he discovered this world’s Fujima and Tenka Uzumaki were Tsunade’s parents.
• Senju Fujima witnessed Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha’s ten-day battle at the Valley of the End, which ended when Hashirama’s Wood Clone stabbed Madara.
