Background

Feng Qingmo was originally an orphan on Earth with severe myopia. After dying in a car accident, he transmigrated into the body of another Feng Qingmo: a nineteen-year-old martial artist whose soul shattered when his newly awakened Spiritual Force erupted beyond his control. He inherited the young man’s memories, family, poor eyesight, and ambition to become powerful. 1

The original Feng Qingmo had been raised by Feng Jiansong, a junior War General, and Zuo Huifen, a senior Warrior. Having never known a family in his previous life, Feng Qingmo accepts them as his parents and resolves to fulfill the original owner’s unfulfilled dream. 1

His visual impairment is caused by long-term pressure from the Spiritual Force core in his Sea of Consciousness against his optic nerve. Dr. Long determines that dissolving the core—or using the Water of Life or reaching a higher realm—could restore his sight. 12 The core eventually dissolves after he consumes Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Milk, leaving a transparent bead in its place; his vision is later fully restored. 44 49
