The students all rushed out of the classroom. Before long, they had crowded around the training field. In the middle stood Uchiha Fugaku and Shangguan Yue, facing each other.
"Shangguan Yue, don't blame me if you die."
"Bring it on."
The two formed the confrontation hand seal. A kunai appeared in Uchiha Fugaku's hand. He spun it around, then gripped it firmly.
Meanwhile, Shangguan Yue stood straight and looked completely at ease. His relaxed attitude made Uchiha Fugaku uneasy.
This guy really thinks he's above everyone. Hmph. You'll see.
Uchiha Fugaku flicked his wrist and hurled the kunai. It flew so fast that the students watching could barely follow it.
"That's way too fast! I can't even see it. Shangguan Yue's done for."
The onlookers' lack of faith didn't affect Shangguan Yue. He seemed unconcerned, but his spiritual energy had already spread out around him.

Uchiha Fugaku froze. Another kunai appeared in his hand, and he hurled four of them at once. Shangguan Yue strolled casually aside, dodging all four by the narrowest of margins.
Then came four more. They struck the kunai in the ground from the front and back, sending it flying into the air. The kunai collided again, changing direction and forming an airtight barrage.
They flew toward Shangguan Yue. He sprang into the air, and the kunai just grazed past his shoulder. They collided once more and came flying back at him.
Shangguan Yue twisted and dodged. A kunai appeared in his hand. He threw it, striking one of the incoming kunai.
Uchiha Fugaku's kunai abruptly changed direction and flew back toward him. Uchiha Fugaku was stunned.
Before he could react, the kunai slashed through his clothes.
"The Uchiha kunai-throwing technique! How do you know it?"
"Take a guess."
"Hmph. Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
"Whoa, Fire Release Ninjutsu?"
"That's a must-have technique for Uchiha members: the Great Fireball. It's a C-rank technique."
"Is Shangguan Yue going to be okay?"
"I don't know. Could someone get killed?"
A fireball burst from Uchiha Fugaku's mouth and shot toward Shangguan Yue. Shangguan Yue didn't move, as if he were scared stiff.
