Watching Tsunade's expectant gaze, Shangguan Yue asked with concern, "What happened?"

Tsunade was instantly incensed. "Am I really that unattractive? You won't even take it when it's delivered to your doorstep!!!"

"No, I'm just looking out for you!"

"I don't need that. One word: are you giving it to me or not?"

"Heh, what if I say no?"

"Your opinion doesn't count; mine does. Hand it over."

Tsunade transformed into a dragon knight, shifting from a delicate young girl into a fearless warrior.

Tsunade dominated the entire battlefield. The fight was absolute chaos; had Shangguan Yue not wrapped the room in his spiritual energy, Grandma in the next room would have been traumatized for life. It was a total collapse of morality and a distortion of human nature.

"Tsunade, you're not human! Can't you let me rest for a moment?"

"Rest? Don't worry, I've seen the power of the Sage Body. Your Sage Body is still a bit lacking; I'll help you train it some more."

Early the next morning, Shangguan Yue felt as if there wasn't a single bone in his body that wasn't aching from the ravages of the night.

Heaven knows what Shangguan Yue went through; it wasn't until dawn that Tsunade finally let him go, looking far from satisfied.

After all, Tsunade had literally worked Shangguan Yue until he passed out, though thanks to the capabilities of the Sage Body, he woke up shortly after.

He looked at the rosy-skinned Tsunade beside him; her transformation from a young girl to a mature woman was incredibly alluring, but he was too exhausted and drifted back into a deep sleep.

When he finally woke up again, his entire body felt as if it had been crushed, and he hadn't recovered yet. Looking to his side, however, he saw that Tsunade had already left.

Shangguan Yue forced himself up to get dressed and noticed a note Tsunade had left on the bedside table.

Shangguan Yue picked it up, and the more he read, the angrier he became. The note contained her review of his performance last night, and she actually called it "average."

"Good grief, Tsunade, you just wait. In a few years, when I rise up and have my day, I'll see who ends up begging for mercy. How dare you look down on me."

Judging by the end of the note, Tsunade was indeed heading out on a mission with Orochimaru and Jiraiya.

The note didn't specify the mission, perhaps for secrecy, or perhaps because she didn't want Shangguan Yue to worry; she simply glossed over it as a behind-enemy-lines infiltration mission.

But one could easily imagine the danger of operating behind enemy lines. The Sannin were still in their growth phase and hadn't reached their peak.

They hadn't even broken through to the Kage level yet, being merely elite Jonin. Infiltrating an enemy nation meant that if they were discovered, the sheer numbers of the enemy would be overwhelming.

At this period, the major ninja villages had already accumulated significant power. The Sannin were currently incapable of dominating a war and could very well perish prematurely.

Thinking of this, a strong sense of unwillingness surged in Shangguan Yue's heart—unwillingness toward the status quo, toward his own current weakness, and toward his woman fighting on the front lines while he could only attend classes at the academy.

"Tsunade, oh Tsunade, you really have disrupted all my plans. It seems I have to accelerate everything."

"I originally intended to develop slowly over six years, but it looks like I'll have to skip grades. Next time, my woman will only need to stand behind me and offer silent support."

Shangguan Yue silently closed his eyes, masking the two-tomoe Sharingan that had just manifested. Only after his heart calmed did he open his eyes, revealing his normal black pupils, and walk out of the room.

"It seems I'm still not ruthless enough. I've had the Devour Bloodline for so long, yet I haven't dared to take action in reality."

That day, Shangguan Yue went about his routine: he sent a Shadow Clone to the academy while he headed to Hatake Sakumo's house.

As usual, Hatake Sakumo opened the door. Shangguan Yue walked in, but this time, instead of picking up the large iron sword to practice his basics, he spoke up.

"Brother Sakumo, how many people are in your Hatake Clan?"

"Hahaha, it's embarrassing to say, but although our Hatake Clan was a decent-sized family during the Warring States period, we've slowly declined since coming to Konoha. We don't have many households—only about ten clansmen."

"Our next generation only has a dozen or so children. We are quite sparse."

"It's alright, Brother Sakumo. With you here, the Hatake Clan will surely rise again. You are so strong, after all."

"I hope your words come true. But Yue, why do you ask?"

"Brother Sakumo, I have a presumptuous request. I want to challenge your younger generation. As long as they haven't reached Jonin level, I want to challenge them all. Please."

Shangguan Yue bowed at a 90-degree angle, his attitude extremely sincere. Sakumo, who had initially intended to refuse, saw how serious Shangguan Yue was and couldn't help but ponder for a moment before warning him.

"Yue, our Hatake Clan practices sword arts, not fisticuffs. Blades have no eyes; it's very likely you could get hurt."

"You are still a student at the Ninja Academy. Isn't this too fast? You might be rushing things."

Hatake Sakumo knew immediately that Shangguan Yue wanted to "train through combat" to improve his sword skills.

Shangguan Yue's eyes were filled with a hunger for strength. How could he possibly give up?

After all, he had a cheat code; not using it would be a waste of heaven's gifts. While he was still here hacking away at logs, he could just challenge the younger generation of the Hatake Clan.

He could record them into the Balance Space, challenge them repeatedly, and farm the skills he wanted!
