Many in Bei Village bent their bows and notched arrows, preparing to shoot Shi Hao and his companion to rescue their own.
Shi Feijiao and the others were furious; they also drew their massive bows, ready to trade fire and engage in a chaotic melee.
With a "whoosh," Shi Lin grabbed Bei Feng by the collar, hoisted him up, and held him in front of himself as a shield against the people of Bei Village, protecting both himself and Shi Hao.
The people of Bei Village dared not act rashly, terrified of harming Bei Feng.
"Little brother, let's talk this over!" the Bei villagers pleaded.
"Hmph!" The two did not linger. Shi Lin, dragging the taller Bei Feng, leaped forward rapidly and charged toward Shi Linhu and the others, with Shi Hao following closely behind.
Bei Feng was tall and slender, and being dragged in such a manner left most of his body trailing on the ground. Battered by thorns and rocks, his hair disheveled, he was a far cry from the handsome, cold youth he had been moments ago, looking utterly wretched.
Only a few meters away, Shi Lin suddenly flung Bei Feng forward. With a thud, he landed before Shi Linhu and the others. He rolled a few times and spat out several mouthfuls of blood, his eyes filled with resentment.
"You little brat, weren't you vicious before? Go on, be arrogant again!" Shi Feijiao didn't care about the consequences; after speaking, he strode forward and stomped down. With a crack, four or five of Bei Feng's ribs snapped instantly.
Following this, several burly men gave Bei Feng a thorough beating, just to vent their anger.
"Let's see you act tough! Let's see you act tough!"
"Hey, friends from Stone Village, show mercy! Let's talk this over; everything is negotiable." The people of Bei Village were desperate. If a youth with such potential to shake the Great Wilderness were to be beaten to death, it would be an unbearable loss for their tribe.
"Nothing to discuss!" After saying this, Shi Feijiao stomped down again. A bone in Bei Feng's arm snapped with a crack, causing his face to twist in agony, yet he remained silent.
In the end, the Bei villagers had no choice but to lower their heads and negotiate with the people of Stone Village. Facing the harsh terms set by the villagers, they had to agree in order to save the talent that was Bei Feng.
"Fine, we will give you all our prey, withdraw from this mountain forest from now on, never cross the boundary again, return your hunting grounds, and hand over all our weapons!" the leader of Bei Village said with a dark face.
The people of Bei Village compromised. Stacks of iron arrows were brought over, along with dragon-horn bows and sharp broadswords. Their hearts were bleeding.
What should have been a bloody battle was easily resolved by two young children from Stone Village; the people of Bei Village could not fathom how it had happened.
The group returned in triumph to Stone Village.
In the days that followed, Stone Village was peaceful, but the depths of the mountain range were not. From time to time, beast roars shook the heavens, causing the mountains to tremble and loose rocks to tumble.
"Chief, that terrifying Suanni in the depths of the mountains is likely nearing its end. It has been roaring and struggling constantly these past few days."
Someone came to report this to Shi Yunfeng.
"That is a true Primordial Remnant! It is considered a titan even in the depths of the mountains. If we could obtain its remains, extract its true blood, and transcribe the original Treasure Rune from its bones, it would undoubtedly be like uncovering a heaven-defying treasure!"
"Even if that Suanni is on the verge of death, it is not something we can contend with. We must not act rashly; we must wait patiently." The chief looked grave as he gave his earnest warning.
In truth, the chief already had a plan: if the bloodline of this true Primordial Remnant, the Suanni, was pure enough, perhaps the true blood needed for Little One's five-year-old baptism would fall to it.
Shi Hao and Shi Lin were practicing runes on a giant rock with the three fledglings.
"Hum!"
With a soft vibration, a Golden Moon emerged from his palm, gentle and holy, casting down specks of clear radiance. Then, the Golden Moon rose and hung behind his head, making Shi Lin appear extraordinary, as if a deity had descended.
The Golden Moon rotated, moving around him, scattering brilliant golden light, looking indescribably holy.
He moved his hands, channeling the runes, and the Golden Moon shimmered with starlight, looking vibrant and spirited.
As the runes flew into the Golden Moon, it gradually grew larger; its two tips became sharper, its center more rounded and full, and its arc widened.
Shi Lin pointed his index finger at a giant rock over ten meters thick in front of him, and the two-meter-long Golden Moon spun rapidly, charging straight at the boulder.
"Clang!"
A metallic chime rang out, as if an ancient, sealed treasure had been cleansed of dust and reborn, ringing with a crisp, holy brilliance.
The Golden Moon circled the giant rock once, and with a crack, dust billowed and light scattered. When the dust settled, the giant rock had been reduced to powder.
"Wow, Brother Lin shattered such a huge rock! That's amazing!"
Little One opened his mouth wide in astonishment.
"I just gained some insights after the last battle. Little One, you try it too!" Shi Lin said, neither arrogant nor impatient.
"Mm-hmm!" After saying this, Little One Shi Hao manifested his runes, and a Golden Moon circled around him.
"Go!" Shi Hao shouted softly.
The Golden Moon circled a giant rock five or six meters long, and with a crack, it sliced through it, leaving a flat and smooth cross-section. Its momentum undiminished, it surged forward again, cutting through two more giant rocks before finally dimming.
"Yay! Last time I only managed to shatter one rock, but now I've cut through three! So amazing!" Little One Shi Hao said excitedly.
"It seems both of us gained a lot from the last battle!" Shi Lin laughed.
The villagers nearby also marveled at the sight.
Four days passed just like that.
Four days later, an earth-shattering roar shook the mountains and valleys. All beasts trembled, kneeling on the ground, while birds of prey fled into the sky. Rocks tumbled, trees swayed, and the entire forest shook.
The Suanni had emerged from the depths of the mountains and reached the outer regions. Nearing death, it sought a place to be buried, and its aura was terrifying.
After a brief discussion, the people of Stone Village decided to send the young and strong members of the hunting team, with Shi Lin and Shi Hao accompanying them; the two had clearly become the strongest combatants in Stone Village.
Before leaving, Shi Hao instructed the three fledglings to persuade the Green-Scaled Eagle once more to come and help. Searching for the Suanni's corpse could be dangerous, and if they had a powerful fierce bird to assist them, things would surely go much more smoothly.
"Let's go, into the mountains!"
The group marched in a grand procession, entering the great mountains and heading toward the burial site chosen by the Suanni.
Towering mountains stood one after another, and the mountain forests were endless. Some of the massive ancient trees were truly astonishing, their crowns soaring into the firmament, reaching over a thousand meters in height. They were even more imposing than some of the mountains themselves, blocking out the sky and sun. As for the vines, no one knew how many years they had been growing; several grown men could not wrap their arms around them, and they wound around the mountains like gnarled Qiu Dragons.
The people of Stone Village sprinted all the way, approaching the place where the Suanni had fallen. They felt a terrifying aura that made them feel incredibly stifled; it was the lingering presence left behind by the death of a king among beasts.
"So quiet!" They sensed something abnormal. It was too tranquil here, without a single sound, as if it were a land of death.
There wasn't even a bird here, let alone wild beasts. Even ants and insects had hidden in their holes to hibernate, refusing to come out. The mountain forest was desolate and silent, with a deathly stillness.
"Father, let's stop here first!" Shi Lin had a bad feeling.
Little One shared the same feeling. His hair stood on end, and he clenched his small fists. Shi Hao also voiced his own intuition.
The group quickly rushed toward the outer perimeter, not approaching the collapsed stone mountain.
"We'll wait here and watch a good show!" Shi Lin said.
"A good show? What kind of good show?" Shi Linhu asked.
"You'll know in a moment!" A flash of light appeared in Shi Lin's eyes.
Human figures appeared in the distance, and shouts erupted from that patch of forest. Three groups of people arrived from three different directions, belonging to different villages. Their goal was the same: to rush toward the collapsed stone mountain and dig out the corpse of the Suanni.
"As expected, it wasn't just our tribe that learned this Primordial Remnant Suanni was about to die of old age. Everyone living near this Great Wilderness has been paying attention." Shi Linhu said.
People nearby were all paying attention.
The three parties confronted each other, and then, unsurprisingly, conflict broke out. The sounds of battle cries echoed through the woodland.
"Awoo..."
Suddenly, five fierce beasts appeared one after another. Each was as large as a house, baring snow-white fangs as they lunged at the crowd, also intending to fight for the Suanni's corpse.
At the same time, a long cry came from the sky, and a gale rose. Several fierce birds flew over, each five or six meters long with wingspans of eleven or twelve meters. They dove down, tearing six or seven people apart on the spot, blood covering the ground.
This bloody scene made not only those who experienced it firsthand, but even the people of Stone Village watching from afar, feel their scalps tingle. The fierce birds and beasts had returned; this was a catastrophe!
"It's a good thing we came back!" Shi Linhu felt a lingering fear, discovering that his back was soaked with cold sweat.
"Awoo!"
Sure enough, beast roars rose and fell throughout the mountains. The fierce beasts and birds that had been scared away by the Suanni earlier had all returned, and now they all wanted to seize its corpse to make themselves stronger. It wasn't just this patch of forest; even in the distant mountains, all the formidable creatures had set out. For a time, the shrieks of birds and beasts rose and fell, and the entire mountain range was in an uproar.
The beasts were in a riot, ranging from dozens of meters to a few feet in size. In the blink of an eye, hundreds appeared, all from powerful tribes—otherwise, they wouldn't have dared to charge. They surged forward like a flood, roaring madly.
The sky was the same; all kinds of avian creatures flew about, iron-beaked and sharp-clawed, covering the sky and earth. They charged toward this mountain area as if they had gone mad, scales and feathers flying everywhere.
"Run!"
The people from those three villages left behind more than forty corpses and jumped into a river, using the waterway to flee for their lives. Otherwise, not a single one would have remained.
On the mountain peak, the people of Stone Village watching from afar turned pale. They had considered that fierce beasts might come to fight for the Suanni King's corpse, but they had never imagined there would be so many.
"Ah..."
Those who had fled into the water, thinking they were safe, suddenly screamed. A giant snake dozens of meters long was rolling there, opening its blood-red maw and swallowing four or five people in one gulp.
"Snap!"
On the other side, a Golden Crocodile over ten meters long emerged. It opened its winnow-like giant mouth and bit down on five or six people at once. Blood flowed, spilling out along its white, sharp teeth and staining the river surface red.
"It seems the flesh of this Suanni is even more precious than we imagined, otherwise why would the beasts and birds fight so desperately?" Shi Feijiao said.
In front of the collapsed stone mountain, hundreds of fierce beasts and raptors were all charging madly, trying to dig through the boulders to unearth the Suanni's treasure body. They were also slaughtering each other; the smell of blood was pungent, and the various roars were deafening.
"Awoo..."
A gale appeared on the mountain, and two behemoths appeared in tandem. Each was seven or eight meters long, covered in brown fur, shaped like tigers, with fierce appearances and wings growing from their ribs.
They were actually the terrifying Biao, and two of them had arrived at once!
Because of their strange appearance, Biao were often rejected by their mothers, who would refuse to nurse them and abandon them. It was almost impossible for them to survive; they would either starve to death or be devoured by mountain beasts. If one happened to survive and grow up, its ferocity would shock the forests, devouring all kinds of fierce beasts.
Now, two Biao appeared together, which was truly astonishing. They were far more vicious than ordinary fierce beasts and difficult to deal with.
With a "whoosh," a gale swept by. A giant Biao moved, diving down and opening its blood-red maw, preparing to bite the people of Stone Village.
This was too sudden. The vicious Biao could fly, and at seven or eight meters long, it was incredibly savage.
Shi Linhu swung his broadsword and charged forward, leading a group of the strongest men to attack the Fierce Biao. Although this creature had not condensed primitive Treasure Runes in its bones, its physical body was extremely powerful and equally terrifying, with astonishing lethality. In their daily hunting, the villagers always tried their best to avoid encountering them.
"Awoo..."
The other Biao roared, lunging forward from the other side. It swung a claw, cold light flashing with a metallic clanging sound, sparks flying as it knocked away the broadswords and clubs in the tribesmen's hands.
"Pfft!"
Two of them, who were a bit slow to dodge, were directly disemboweled. Blood covered the ground, and they suffered unimaginable, grievous wounds, only to be dragged back to safety by the villagers.
"Die!" Shi Lin's spirit eyes flashed as he charged forward. Runes flickered on his arms, lighting up like stars. Between his palms and fingers, light gathered, and then a Golden Moon appeared.
The Golden Moon descended, looking incredibly real, as if a divine moon from the nine heavens had fallen. It radiated holy light and rushed rapidly toward one of the Fierce Biao.
"Clang!"
The Fierce Biao swung its winnow-like giant claw, cold light flashing as it collided with the Golden Moon, emitting a metallic vibration that shook the very mountain.
One must know that this Golden Moon could split boulders and possessed infinite power, yet the Biao had actually met it head-on with its sharp claws.
After a brief stalemate, with a "pfft," the Fierce Biao let out an earth-shattering roar. One of its claws was finally severed, blood gushing out and staining the ground red.
At the same time, that golden moon did not lose its momentum, slicing into the creature's skull with a pfft sound. A massive fissure split open, and a terrifying wound began to spray blood.
A beastly roar shook the heavens, causing the mountain forest to tremble. The Fierce Biao swayed violently, its eyes filled with reluctance as the fierce light within them gradually dimmed, before it collapsed into a pool of blood with a thunderous crash.
This was the Precious Technique of the Purple Emperor Immortal Eagle clan; its offensive power was astonishing. With a single strike, Shi Lin had instantly slain a terrifying Fierce Biao.
"Well done, Lin! Give them another one!" Shi Feijiao shouted.
"Little Hao, the other one is yours!"
"Got it!"
Shi Hao turned, charging toward the second Biao. Light flashed in his palm once more, and this Precious Technique—not to be passed on to outsiders—revealed its ferocious might again. As the golden moon swept past, blood sprayed from the neck of the seven or eight-meter-long giant Biao. With a silver flash, its head was severed, falling to the ground with a heavy thud.
The giant beast's blood gushed out like a small river, splashing all over many of the villagers.
"What a terrifying Precious Technique!"
This kind of Precious Technique was truly shocking.
"Precious Techniques are truly powerful; they can kill fierce beasts and save lives. If only I could obtain the original runes of the Suanni," Little One whispered to himself.
A long cry echoed from the clouds as the Green-Scaled Eagle appeared, diving down and whipping up a gale.
Little One and Shi Lin jumped up, waving their arms vigorously. Little One shouted at the top of his lungs, "Auntie Green-Scaled Eagle, carry us up! You are the overlord of the outer mountain forest, and we can help you out. Let's go fight for the Suanni's precious body together!"
The wind howled as the Green-Scaled Eagle swooped down. Its wingspan was a full fifteen or sixteen meters wide, descending like a dark cloud and casting a shadow that made one's heart tremble.
Shi Hao leaped five or six meters into the air with a whoosh, landing on the broad eagle back. He immediately felt a sense of hardness; every scale was as cold and rigid as refined iron.
Shi Lin followed right behind him.
"Lin, you two must be careful!" Shi Linhu yelled. He knew he couldn't stop the two little ones, so he could only shout a warning.
"Don't worry!" As soon as he finished speaking, the Green-Scaled Eagle flapped its wings, instantly crossing rows of mountain peaks to arrive before the mountain range. Trees were flattened, giant trunks were snapped, and broken branches and leaves were scattered everywhere.
Beast roars and avian cries resounded through the forest, and blood stained the ground red. Many massive beast carcasses lay fallen, trampled into bloody mud; the scene was utterly gruesome!
Before the collapsed stone mountain, a dense crowd of terrifying creatures was locked in a frenzied battle. Blood splashed dozens of feet into the air as they crowded together, digging through boulders in search of the Suanni's corpse.
At this moment, fierce beasts constantly attacked the Green-Scaled Eagle, viewing it as a major threat, and many joined forces to oppose it.
The Green-Scaled Eagle took the lead in the fighting, while Shi Hao and his companion defended its rear against the attacks of other fierce beasts.
Purple Gold Snakes, Blood Sables, Kui Beasts, Silver Pangolins, Mountain Cats, descendants of Primordial Remnant birds, and many more had arrived, but all were defeated by the two boys and the eagle. In the fray, a Purple Gold Snake managed to bite the Green-Scaled Eagle, leaving a wound oozing black blood; it looked like the poison was quite severe.
Shi Hao decisively struck, slaying the Purple Gold Snake.
"BOOM!"
A giant silver crocodile surged up from the river, arriving on the scene and instantly smashing through a section of the mountain rocks.
At the same time, seven or eight other formidable creatures appeared, far surpassing ordinary giant beasts, forming a terrifying standoff.
Eventually, as if by some tacit understanding, they ceased their attacks and began to dig through the rocks together, intending to see the Suanni's precious body before resuming the fight.
The Green-Scaled Eagle also stopped its pursuit. Its body was covered in large patches of blood, and its green scales shimmered with a cold, terrifying light.
"Auntie Green, are you alright?" Little One asked, worried. There were hundreds of giant beasts, and several were no weaker than the Green-Scaled Eagle. The difficulty of seizing the Suanni's remains was immense.
"Auntie Green-Scaled Eagle, let us apply some medicine!" Shi Lin took a bottle from his pocket and opened it to reveal some powder. After a moment of hesitation, the Green-Scaled Eagle extended its wound, and Shi Lin applied all the powder onto it.
"All done!" Shi Lin said.
"Auntie Green-Scaled Eagle, you'll be better soon!" Shi Hao said.
The Green-Scaled Eagle glanced at the two of them, and for that moment, the fierce light in its eyes softened slightly.
"BOOM!"
The giant silver crocodile was frantic, flipping over boulder after boulder, when suddenly, a brilliant golden glow bloomed, rising like a small sun and shining amidst the rocks.
It was a leg as thick as a pillar, strong and powerful, covered in golden fur. It was dazzling and brilliant, as if cast from solid gold, and it radiated a monstrous, heaven-shaking aura!
The precious body of the Primordial Remnant Suanni had appeared. Original runes flickered upon it, dazzling and bright, which shocked all the formidable creatures present. Their eyes burned with greed as they all lunged forward.
This was a golden beast leg, resplendent and sturdy, like that of a divine beast. Even in death, it possessed a terrifying majesty, flowing with a golden light that inspired awe. At this very moment, not to mention the hundreds of fierce beasts and birds, even the giant silver crocodile, the Blood Sable, and the Purple Gold Great Insect could not help but retreat, intimidated by the sheer ferocity of the aura.
In the end, the Green-Scaled Eagle was the first to step forward, followed by several other exotic beasts—one shaped like a Fire Cloud Qilin and another resembling a Leopard Hou. They were all overlords of the outer regions, though aside from the Green-Scaled Eagle, the others did not belong to this specific area.
With a thunderous crash, the Green-Scaled Eagle spread its giant wings, shaking away the mountain rocks. Sand and stone flew, revealing the majority of the Suanni's precious body.
The other fierce beasts did the same, rushing forward, and suddenly rocks filled the air, forcing the other beasts and birds to retreat.
A brilliant golden divine radiance poured out. Lying there was a behemoth shaped like a divine lion, with golden dragon horns on its head and golden scales covering its forehead. Its entire body was radiant, its fur brighter than golden silk.
This was the Suanni, a true Primordial Remnant. Although its noble bloodline was no longer pure and it could not match the heaven-defying power of its ancient ancestors, it still reigned supreme in the depths of the mountain range.
The body it left behind was not supernaturally large—only six meters long—but the strength of a fierce beast was not measured by size alone, and the Suanni before them was the best proof of that.
Its entire body looked as if it were cast from gold. Even in death, its majesty remained, and its fierce aura permeated the area. The golden light illuminated the entire mountain range, turning even the leaves a pale gold.
The old Suanni, a supreme and terrifying creature!
The Green-Scaled Eagle, the Leopard Hou, the Fire Cloud Qilin, and several other exotic beasts and birds moved at once. Having confirmed it was indeed the Suanni's precious body, they fought with all their might.
Runes flew everywhere in this place, the ground was drenched in blood, and the giant beasts were locked in a grueling battle, all of them exhausted.
Suddenly, the scales all over the Green-Scaled Eagle's body flared and then tightened rapidly, as if it had encountered some immense terror. It dove down abruptly, skimming the mountain forest, and fled at extreme speed.
At this very moment, a chill ran down the spine of Little One, as if he had fallen into an ice cellar. Only as the Green-Scaled Eagle flew at extreme speed did this sensation slowly fade.
"What was that?" Little One had never felt such palpitations as he did today; for a moment, it felt as if his very breathing had stopped, and his small face turned pale.
"Two beast kings have arrived!" Shi Lin remained relatively calm, for he knew everything.
The Green-Scaled Eagle flew a great distance before soaring high into the sky, diving into the cloud layer to conceal its form while watching the mountain range below.
"Roar..."
An earth-shaking beast roar erupted, causing the mountains and valleys to tremble. Withered leaves fell in a rustle, the entire world suddenly turned icy cold, and a terrifying aura rampaged like a flood.
In an instant, the mountain forest went from clamorous to deathly silent. Fierce birds and wild beasts stopped their cries, trembling in fear, not daring to make a sound. Even the Blood Sable, the Purple Gold Snake, and the Fire Cloud Qilin dared not move.
A black figure appeared, descending like an overlord of the world, radiating a monstrous, ferocious might that left the mountains and valleys in absolute silence!
This was a Demon Ape, not particularly large, standing only a little over two meters tall. Its body was covered in half-foot-long black fur that was lustrous and intimidating. What was shocking was that it possessed a pair of black, fleshy wings, allowing it to traverse the skies; it had just descended from above. Furthermore, atop its head sat a pair of black horns, thick and hideous.
"Demon Ape!" Shi Hao and Shi Lin exclaimed in unison. The two exchanged a glance.
The Demon Ape was too powerful; its mere appearance cowed the ten thousand beasts. Its cold gaze swept across the land, and not a single creature dared to resist. Moreover, black mist swirled around its body, and a tragic, murderous aura assaulted the senses, as if it had slaughtered thousands of powerful beings. "This is a king that reigns in the depths of the mountain range; it is likely not much weaker than the Suanni."
The Demon Ape casually grabbed an Eagle Bear, cracked open its skull, and began to feast with audible crunches, acting as if no one else were present.
"Bang!"
After taking only a few bites, the Demon Ape pushed off the ground with its feet and leaped, landing right in front of the Suanni. Behind it, the ten-meter-long beast—the Eagle Bear—collapsed with a boom.
The Demon Ape was truly this savage!
"Moo..."
Suddenly, the roar of a Reckless Bull echoed, and a terrifying firelight surged from the distant forest. It was a giant crimson bull, over a dozen meters tall and thirty meters long, its four hooves treading upon flames.
Its entire body was bathed in fire, its fur like satin, shimmering with a deep red luster.
"Could this be the Li Fire Bull Demon that Grandpa Chief spoke of?!" Little One opened his eyes wide in astonishment.
Although the chief, Shi Yunfeng, was now frail and old, when Little One was very young, he had heard the elders of that time speak of a fire bull in the depths of the mountains whose divine might shook the Great Wilderness. To think it was still alive.
With a whoosh, the Demon Ape spread its wings and soared into the sky to confront the Li Fire Bull Demon. A monstrous, ferocious aura erupted between the two, sweeping through the entire forest like a hurricane.
"Awoo..."
"Moo..."
With two great roars, they charged at each other instantly, engaging in a bloody battle. In a flash, the mountains shook and the earth quaked; ancient trees shattered and giant boulders flew through the air.
Suddenly, golden light flared brilliantly, spreading outward until the entire forest turned radiant. The trees and rocks all took on a pale golden hue. No one had expected that the Suanni would leap up, its ferocious might surging to the heavens!
"Roar..."
It sounded like a thunderclap from the nine heavens, shaking the mountains. It moved as fast as a golden bolt of lightning, pouncing toward the two beast kings that reigned over the region.
"Pfft!"
It was too fast and too sudden; there was no way to defend against it. The golden light streaked past, and although the Demon Ape reacted with lightning speed, one of its arms was still torn off, sending blood spraying dozens of feet into the air.
"Crack!"
At the same time, the Li Fire Bull Demon, its body wreathed in flames, had a multi-meter-long horn on its head—along with a large chunk of flesh—severed by a single swipe of the Suanni's claw, falling to the ground.
This sight stunned all the fierce beasts and birds; they all collapsed on the spot, trembling uncontrollably.
In the clouds, the Green-Scaled Eagle shuddered in terror. The Suanni had not died, and they had just been fighting over its remains—how terrifying was this?!
"Eeya, how is it alive again?" Little One scratched his head, feeling bewildered.
As expected, Shi Lin thought to himself.
"Roar..."
An earth-shattering roar echoed through the forest. The Demon Ape bellowed in fury; having had an arm ripped off alive, it was driven mad by the excruciating pain as blood gushed from the wound.
It attacked with its remaining arm, punching toward the golden-lit beast lord. The Suanni showed no signs of age; with a flicker, it instantly appeared a hundred meters away.
With a "boom," the Demon Ape's punch pulverized the remaining half of a stone mountain, its divine might shaking the wild forest. After missing, it did not linger; with a single leap of two hundred meters, it prepared to spread its wings and flee.
Though furious, it knew it was no match for the old Suanni.
The Suanni's golden pupils were icy cold, its body surging with clouds and mist like a tsunami. Golden lightning crackled and struck the Demon Ape's back with a snap.
"Awoo-roar..."
The Demon Ape howled, its body trembling as blood sprayed over a dozen feet high. Just as before, it had suffered a massive blow from the terrifying precious technique of the Suanni clan, leaving a bloody hole in its chest and back that could be seen through.
The mighty Demon Ape tumbled down, opening its blood-stained maw to reveal snow-white fangs. It charged with its single arm, runes flickering all over its body, preparing to unleash a powerful precious technique.
On the other side, the Li Fire Bull Demon, its body crimson as fire and smooth as satin, was also going berserk. Runes flickered across its hide; it did not want to truly fight the Suanni to the death and sought to break through the encirclement, choosing to flee at the first opportunity.
However, the Suanni was too terrifying. Two beams of light shot from the depths of its golden pupils, accompanied by the sound of thunder, striking the body of the Li Fire Bull Demon. This caused its runes to dissipate and left terrifying bloody gashes across its frame.
"Moo..."
The thirty-meter-long crimson bull was enraged. Its entire body blazed with monstrous fire, and as the Li Fire burned, it stood on its hind legs, opened its giant mouth, and spewed out a scorching radiance that turned the stone peaks into magma, sweeping across all directions.
In this single strike, countless fierce birds and beasts became nothing but ash, unable to even let out a scream.
The Suanni roared, its golden radiance intensifying. The light was blinding, turning the entire mountain area into a golden ocean, with surging clouds and mist blocking the Li Fire.
In the distant clouds, Little One muttered to himself, "The Suanni is faking its death to eliminate its enemies; it intentionally lured the Demon Ape and the Li Fire Bull Demon here. It truly is an intelligent species, smarter than many people."
Demons roared and Li Fire surged to the heavens, while clouds, smoke, and lightning intertwined. The area was in a state of turmoil as the three Primordial Remnants clashed, the deafening sounds shaking the Great Wilderness.
On the bodies of the Suanni, the Li Fire Bull Demon, and the Ape King, mysterious patterns wove together in dense, blazing light, dancing like electric serpents. Powerful forces churned, gathering wind and clouds—a Precious Technique was about to be unleashed!
"Boom!"
Deafening sounds erupted in succession, like celestial thunder striking from the nine heavens. Radiant light soared, clouds and mist filled the air, and lightning and fire intertwined. The three titans—the Suanni, the Demon Ape, and the Li Fire Bull Demon—collided head-on, causing the mountains to collapse as if the end of the world had arrived.
"Pfft!" The Demon Ape was sent flying, tumbling out from the golden divine radiance that filled the mountains. It was covered in blood, its bones shattered, but it had finally managed to break free from the Suanni's cloud and smoke.
With a "thud," it kicked the earth, cracking the ground, and spread its demonic wings to create a hurricane. Carrying a monstrous black mist, it charged into the depths of the mountain range.
The Demon Ape had not only lost an arm but its internal organs were also pulverized, and countless bones were broken. It needed to find a quiet place to hide and heal immediately, or it would surely die if discovered by its old enemies.
"Moo..."
The Li Fire Bull Demon bellowed, its deep roar shaking the mountains. Covered in blood, it struggled to break free, the firelight turning the sky a deep red. It smashed through a mountain peak and, treading upon magma, fled into the depths of the mountain range.
Only the Suanni remained at the scene. Its golden fur was brilliant as it raised its head and let out a long howl. Like a tornado, it swept through the area, uprooting grass and thorns, snapping giant trees, and sending boulders tumbling in a scene of total chaos.
The Suanni's eyes swept coldly over the surviving powerful creatures. With a low growl, the beasts finally felt as if they had been granted amnesty; they wailed and fled in all directions, vanishing in the blink of an eye.
Then, light erupted from its entire body, its frame cracked, and with a thunderous crash, it collapsed onto the mountainside.
