The Black One-Horned Human Bear shuddered when it heard Bai Yixin's shout. What the hell? That vicious? I was just passing by! We've only just met, and you already want to eat me?!

When the Black One-Horned Human Bear saw Bai Yixin cut down a treant with a single sword stroke, its eyes flashed with alarm. Outnumbered, it didn't dare stay and fight.

"This... Junior Brother Bai, is he even human?" one of the Heaven-Mending Pavilion senior brothers asked, looking utterly incredulous as Bai Yixin killed in a few moves a ferocious beast cub he himself would have struggled to handle.

It meant that they, the senior brothers and sisters, and their junior brother who had only recently joined the sect, weren't even on the same level.

But unfortunately, the Fire Cloud Sparrow was too cunning. After being struck, it let out a cry and plunged rapidly downward. Just before hitting the ground, it suddenly wheeled around, halted its fall, and skimmed away close to the ground—not toward Bai Yixin.

The five Heaven-Mending Pavilion prodigies looked at one another, at a loss for words. Why did these two junior brothers seem more vicious than each other—more savage than the ferocious beasts?

"Little One, you... missed your chance," Bai Yixin teased as he came over, dragging the Black One-Horned Human Bear behind him.

"Brother Little White, that little bird was too cunning! If I see it again, I absolutely won't let it escape!" Little One ran over indignantly, rushed into a nearby patch of woods, and dragged out a piece of fresh meat weighing more than twenty pounds, still covered with a few scarlet feathers.
