Servian was furious.
He had been enjoying a wonderful dream, dreaming that he had become a legendary Black Dragon, slaughtered everyone in Dragonhunt Town, and restored the glory of the Ancient Black Dragons. Then an explosion had jolted him awake.
His eyes throbbed with pain, his vision was blurred, and his abdomen was a bloody mess.
Opening his eyes, he saw a group of ants daring to challenge a Black Dragon's majesty. They were courting death!
An elf, a dwarf, a half-elf, a human, and a girl who carried the aura of Dragonkind!
With one swipe of his claw, Servian sent the Elite Gargoyle clinging to his abdominal wound flying. The tremendous force slammed the Elite Gargoyle into the hall's wall, easily shattering even its sturdy obsidian body. An Elite Gargoyle with a challenge level of 13 had failed to withstand a single swipe from an adult Black Dragon. Black Dragon Servian's strength was simply terrifying.
Although the Eye of Insight could not see through him, Shawn estimated that Servian's challenge level was at least 18 or 19, and might even have reached or exceeded 20!
This was the most terrifying enemy he had ever faced, more terrifying than the Gor'dok Ogre King, more terrifying than Doomhound Immol'thar after his magic had been drained, and more terrifying than Elven Prince Tortheldrin after he had suffered a backlash.
And this time, he had no powerful allies like Shandris, Jaina, or Varian Wrynn. All he had were members of the Dragon-Hunting Team whose strength was roughly on par with his own. Facing such a terrifying being, Shawn could not help feeling nervous.
But he had no regrets.
Shawn would never regret it.
He was not afraid of failure, because he still had a Town Portal Scroll bound to a quiet spot below
