Shawn also received a gift from Cenarius: the Staff of Darnassus.
This staff, made from a branch of the sacred tree Darnassus and personally enchanted by Cenarius, was intended exclusively for Druids. Both its material and its enchantments were of the highest quality, placing it squarely in the epic category.
The staff's greatest function was its connection to the sacred tree Darnassus in the Emerald Dream, and to the Emerald Dream itself. Whenever Shawn entered the Emerald Dream in the future, he could follow the staff's guidance straight to Darnassus. It was very convenient.
More importantly, if Shawn wanted to seal the Worgen beneath Darnassus again, this staff would play an irreplaceable role.
After completing the Druid class quest, Shawn received his quest reward: a Seed of Nature.
The Seed of Nature was a special item produced by the Space Garrison. In essence, it was a seed of an unspecified variety. Only after claiming the reward would he discover what kind of seed it was.
When Shawn claimed it and saw the Seed of Nature's properties, he was both surprised and delighted.
Seed of Nature: Moonshade Grass. Plant the Seed of Nature in suitable soil, and it will grow into a large patch of Moonshade Grass. Tip: A Moonshade Grass Potion prepared using Moonshade Grass as its primary ingredient can calm the mind, dispel inner shadows, and suppress the Worgen curse when consumed.
Unlike ordinary grass seeds, the Seed of Nature had been imbued with powerful nature magic. A single seed could rapidly propagate into a large patch of Moonshade Grass. And the effects of Moonshade Grass happened to be immensely helpful for the predicament Shawn currently faced.
