Valorn died at Taerar's hands, but in his final moment, he drove the Scythe of Elune he had been holding into Taerar's claw.

Valorn unleashed the Scythe of Elune's power one last time. This time, there was none of Goldrinn's wild power, only the potent Moon Goddess's power.

Shawn suddenly discovered that the Feathermoon Amulet inside him had floated out on its own. The potent moonlight power it contained merged with the Scythe of Elune's Moon Goddess's power, enveloping Taerar's body.

Once Taerar had exhausted the last of his strength, no one could bring him back to life. Even if he were resurrected, he would only return as an undead.

If they believed in the Holy Light, their souls would rest in graveyards or churches.

After Night Elves died, their souls became special elf spirits, continuing to exist in this world in another form. They still retained their original memories and lives, but could no longer remain among the Night Elves for long.

They had their own communities and places where they belonged.

Valorn's elf spirit floated over to Broll, who understood what he wanted.
