They continued their campaign against the undead, following the southern road eastward. Their final destination was the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery south of Darkshire, where the buried corpses had all become ghouls and large numbers of undead lurked.
Once they had dealt with the problem there, they would return to Dawn Forest to help Shawn and the others seal away the worgen. Then they would travel together to Deadwind Pass to deal with the Dark Knight, before finally heading to Theramore to see Aegwynn.
Before they parted, Med'an asked Shawn many questions about his origins, his parents, Aegwynn, and Karazhan.
Shawn told him everything he knew.
Med'an received the information he wanted, while Shawn gained Med'an's friendship.
Chromie stuck to Shawn. Wherever he went, she followed.
Shawn had seen through her identity, so she decided to cling to him relentlessly. After all, she needed to understand his character and intentions before deciding what to do with him.
Well, she believed she had the power to decide his fate.
Neither Shawn nor Chromie laid their cards on the table, though. The time had not yet come.
Both knew the truth and played dumb. In any case, Chromie's goal was to observe Shawn up close, and she had achieved that. As for Shawn, he had gained an extra helper for nothing. Apart from having to keep his guard up around her, there was no downside.
