Shawn shook his head and shrugged helplessly.
Chromie was like gum stuck to him-he could not get rid of her no matter how hard he tried. He had no idea what Nozdormu, the Time-Lord, had sent her to do. She was such a nuisance.
Seeing that Shawn and the others had all declined and truly had matters to attend to, Duke Ello Ebonlocke could only smile. "In that case, I won't insist that you stay. But Vorgul Ogre Mountain remains a problem, and Karazhan's evil magical energies are still affecting Duskwood. I fear something will go wrong sooner or later."
Shawn smiled. "Karazhan's problems can't be solved in a day or two. Once the war in Ahn'Qiraj is over, I imagine Master Merry and Master Med'an will return, along with other archmages. Then Karazhan's problems will surely be resolved once and for all. As for Vorgul Ogre Mountain..."
There were at least a thousand ogres on Vorgul Ogre Mountain.
Ogres were enormous, and individually, they were far stronger than humans.
Ogre warriors were formidable fighters, while ogre mages wielded powerful spells. Even if the entire Night Watch mobilized, they would probably struggle to wipe out a whole mountain of ogres.
Shawn thought for a moment. Finding no particularly good solution, he turned to Merry.
Merry understood that Shawn wanted to pass the problem to him. He owed Shawn a favor anyway, and this was hardly a major issue; he could take care of it with little effort. He nodded and said calmly:
"I'll visit Vorgul Ogre Mountain and give them a warning."
Merry's warning would be simple. He only needed to find the leaders of Vorgul Ogre Mountain and demonstrate his powerful magic, and they would naturally grow wary of him. People said ogres were all brawn and no brains,
