Broll sighed. "Actually, several years ago, Fandral suggested that the Cenarion Circle plant a new World Tree. He believed it would grant the night elves immortality again. But my teacher, Malfurion, flatly refused. He believed that without the blessings of the Dragon Aspects, a new World Tree would be useless and would even become a menace. Because of his refusal, the World Tree was never planted. But after he fell asleep, Fandral planted a new World Tree anyway."
Remulos nodded. "Broll, I'll leave this investigation to you. You must investigate in secret. Don't let Fandral know, or even the Cenarion Circle, lest word get out. You must find out whether there is anything wrong with Fandral or with the World Tree, Teldrassil. Once you have results, report to Tyrande and me immediately."
Broll nodded at once. "Honored Guardian, I will investigate thoroughly. I hope these are nothing more than our suspicions. Otherwise, we'll be in trouble. Alas."
Several days earlier, Remulos had already sent someone to notify Tyrande, asking her and the priestesses of the Temple of the Moon to come to Moonglade and help.
While Shawn and the others were discussing the source of the Nightmare, Tyrande had already arrived in Moonglade. She landed in Nighthaven, then gathered its night elf druids, tauren druids, and numerous dryads to head to Remulos's Temple together and meet Guardian Remulos.
