But Shawn knew very well that it would be difficult to gain Arcane Magic power on par with an adult green dragon in such a short time. Unlike the path of nature, Arcane Magic could not draw upon the power of the natural world. It had to be accumulated one step at a time, with no shortcuts whatsoever.
That was precisely what made the mage's path so captivating.
Shawn was already a level 7 mage. As for his druid class, he had previously been a level 3 druid, but after the four green dragons merged with his body, his insight into and understanding of the druidic path had risen to a new level. He was now a level 5 druid.
Shawn had yet to receive the advancement quest for Mid-Rank Druid, which made him somewhat uneasy.
Still, Shawn knew perfectly well that completing an advancement quest was not the only way to become a Mid-Rank Druid. He already had a solid foundation and possessed two Druidic Artifacts. The Staff of the Dream Guardian also held the souls of four adult green dragons, all of which would help him study the druidic path.
If all else failed, Shawn could head to Dawn Forest at any time. Archdruid Leral Firefang would surely be happy to teach him the druidic path.
If that still was not enough, Shawn could seek guidance from Archdruid Broll Bearmantle, or go straight to Moonglade and consult Guardian Remulos.
