Murloc Tidehunters and Murloc Raiders are roughly equivalent to the Rogue class; Bluegill Warriors are of the Warrior class, while Darkscale Oracles, Coldlight Seers, and Coldlight Oracles are all spellcaster classes.
The proportion of professionals within a Murloc tribe is no higher than that of humans. Usually, a tribe consists of several dozen Murlocs, containing only one Darkscale Oracle or Coldlight Seer, two or three Murloc Tidehunters or Murloc Raiders, or perhaps a Bluegill Warrior. It typically takes several small tribes or one large tribe to produce a single Coldlight Oracle.
As for the higher-level Murloc Warleader, there might not even be one in this entire Murloc Shoal, which spans several kilometers.
A Murloc Warleader, as the name implies, exists as a commander within the Murloc forces. How many tribes must gather together to possess enough Murloc professionals to form an entire Murloc army?
Currently, it seems the highest-level professional in the Murloc Shoal is likely the Coldlight Oracle.
Even so, clearing the entire Murloc Shoal is no easy feat.
The lack of a clear victory condition is the most difficult condition of all. It usually means you must attack again and again, striving repeatedly to kill, kill, and kill once more, until every last Murloc is slaughtered, or until the Space Garrison mercifully issues a quest.
In an entire Murloc Shoal, no matter how low the ratio of professionals, there are still dozens or even hundreds of them. The mere thought of dealing with hundreds of professionals makes Shawn shudder.
This is simply an impossible mission.
Shawn sighed, rubbing his forehead.
Shawn gave it a try; with a "biu" sound, a fist-sized fireball struck a Murloc Raider, sending it to the afterlife.
But immediately after, a large group of Murlocs came charging toward Shawn, claws bared.
"God, there's an aggro link between these Murlocs! I hit one and a whole swarm came?"
Without a second thought, Shawn turned and ran.
In this Murloc Shoal, which lacks any cover, you can be spotted by the Murlocs no matter where you run. After weighing the disparity in strength, Shawn abandoned all hope, dashed back to the spawn point, and exited the Murloc Shoal to return to reality.
This was Shawn's first failure, and it served to cool his heated head significantly.
"As expected, a so-called dungeon isn't a real game instance after all! If you die in the dungeon, you really die, so everything must be handled with caution—survival is the top priority!"
Shawn felt deeply ashamed of his recklessness. He wallowed in shame for exactly three seconds before closing his eyes to contemplate.
Compared to the Kobold Den, the difficulty of the Murloc Shoal had clearly risen by several tiers. Even taking into account that Shawn's own strength had improved considerably, it was obvious that while the Kobold Den was clearable, the Murloc Shoal seemed absolutely impossible to conquer with his current strength.
But was that really the case?
Shawn thought it over carefully and felt that couldn't be right.
On the Portal of Time and Space, when Shawn first arrived, only the "Kobold Den" option was displayed, and that dungeon was one he could clear.
Subsequently, due to his class advancement quest, the second option, "Stromgarde 2800 Years Ago," appeared, and that quest was clearly also completable.
The "Murloc Shoal" option hadn't appeared after he finished his class advancement quest, but rather immediately after he cleared the Kobold Den. This perhaps meant that the Portal of Time and Space, or the Space Garrison, believed that after completing the Kobold Den, Shawn already possessed the strength to clear the Murloc Shoal.
However, after clearing the Kobold Den, aside from obtaining the white common-grade equipment "Kobold Shaman Wizard Staff" and "Dalaran Wizard Robe," plus 2 free attribute points, he hadn't received anything else. On what basis did the Space Garrison believe he had the strength to clear the "Murloc Shoal"?
Oh, right, he had obtained one other thing, which was...
"Kobold War Horn (Westfall)!"
Shawn's eyes suddenly lit up.
Could it be that the Kobold War Horn was the decisive factor for clearing the "Murloc Shoal"?
And since the Kobold War Horn only worked on Kobolds, didn't that mean...
Shawn stood up abruptly.
Connecting this to the situation in Westfall, where the Jangolode Mine occupied by Kobolds and the Gold Coast occupied by Murlocs were not far apart, then...
Could there also be a Kobold tribe not far from the Murloc Shoal?
Thinking of this, Shawn could no longer hold back. He quickly entered the Space Garrison and arrived before the Portal of Time and Space.
Every entry into the Portal of Time and Space required a certain amount of garrison resources to construct. Shawn didn't know exactly how the consumption of these resources was calculated.
The first time cost 10 garrison resources, and the second time also cost 10. But this time, entering the Murloc Shoal required 15 garrison resources.
Having already entered once before, this second entry nearly exhausted the few remaining garrison resources Shawn had. Upon entering the Murloc Shoal, Shawn immediately ran in the opposite direction of the Murlocs.
Although Shawn's physique was not yet on par with an adult human, it was decent enough. Half an hour later, Shawn indeed spotted a mine, with two Kobolds guarding the entrance.
Shawn hesitated for a moment, but then made up his mind and took out the Kobold War Horn.
The reason for his hesitation was that this Kobold War Horn was only suited for Westfall; while it had some effect on Kobolds outside of Westfall, it was minimal.
The reason he decided to proceed was his accidental discovery that the Murloc Shoal seemed somewhat similar to a corner of the Gold Coast, and the mine before him looked very much like the Jangolode Mine... even though the landscape here was different from Westfall, with clear distinctions.
Could it be that Shawn's current location was actually the Jangolode Mine of Westfall?
Just not on the same timeline—a Westfall in a different space-time?
Shawn had no way of knowing what was truly going on.
He intended to give it a try.
Even if the attempt failed, the Kobolds couldn't outrun him, and he would still have time to flee back to the spawn point.
With that thought, Shawn blew the Kobold War Horn.
They say fate always favors the transmigrator.
After the Kobold War Horn was blown, the two Kobolds at the entrance of the Jangolode Mine immediately had their eyes turn blood-red. They dropped the tattered mining picks in their hands, rushed to Shawn, and with a thud, knelt on the ground, performing a grand kowtow toward him while shouting in the Kobold language.
"!@#@!#¥%#¥..."
Although Shawn couldn't understand a single word, that didn't stop him from employing his "Great Bluffer" skill.
Shawn roared loudly, his voice like scorching fire, igniting every Kobold who heard it.
Old Kobolds, young Kobolds, and adult Kobolds all rushed out from the mine.
All the Kobolds were of one heart, ready to reclaim the ancient glory of the Westfall Kobolds under the leadership of the great Warbringer!
