As she watched Shawn and the others leave the Town Hall, Jaina gripped her staff, lowered her head slightly, and murmured, "Medivh's student? Is that true? Is he still helping us?"
"Jaina."
Aegwynn called her name, then shook her head. "After the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Medivh disappeared. No one knows where he went. He has fulfilled his purpose in this world. Unless he chooses otherwise, this world no longer has anything to do with him. Even I cannot find him."
Jaina held Aegwynn in great respect, and her expression fell at those words. She sighed softly, then said, "Was that half-elf mage lying? If he isn't Medivh's student, then what he told us must be false too, right?"
Aegwynn shook her head again. "Not necessarily. Medivh isn't the only one in Azeroth who understands the timelines well. There are also the bronze dragons. Their duty is to safeguard the timelines. When it comes to predicting what calamities will befall this world, they are more reliable than Medivh."
Jaina frowned at that. "You think that half-elf mage might have ties to the bronze dragons? If that's true, then what exactly are the bronze dragons after? And where do they stand?"
Aegwynn shook her head once more. "Perhaps he has ties to the bronze dragons, perhaps to the Infinite Dragons, or perhaps to some other beings. The universe is vast, with countless stars and countless living beings. Who could know them all? Not even the Titans could. None of that matters. What matters, Jaina, is what you intend to do."
Seeing Jaina lower her head in thought, Aegwynn urged her, "Since your father, Admiral Daelin, died, you have already made your choice: to become a bridge between the Horde and the Alliance, maintaining peace even in the face of everyone's criticism.
