Shawn looked at Krush and said, "Krush, now that my aunt is the new King Gordok, shouldn't you offer tribute according to your clan's rules? Hurry up and bring out all the good stuff you've stashed away!"
Krush had no idea how Shawn knew so much. The young Half-Elf before him filled him with deep apprehension and fear. Then he caught Shandris's questioning gaze, and a chill ran through him. Not daring to tell a single lie, he hurriedly said:

Krush dutifully played the loyal servant and said quietly, "That is the Ogre lord Krokas. He used to be the strongest member of the Gor'dok clan after Urok. When Urok rose to power, Krokas was his most formidable rival. He's a warmonger who fervently believes in the Gor'dok clan's might."
