The Amani Troll Empire's army was even more loosely organized than Shawn had imagined.

Indeed, it could not compare to the elven forces of Quel'Thalas, much less the elite troops of Arathor.

When Merry saw the Amani Trolls sharing a human corpse as a meal, he nearly pulled out his disguised staff and attacked them. Shawn desperately held him back at the crucial moment.

"Are you trying to get us all killed? Calm down!"

Shawn forcibly restrained Merry, and the group quickly left.

Only after ducking into an empty tent did Shawn bend over and vomit, suddenly feeling utterly sick.
