"Down in the Seireitei, it seems things are starting to get lively..." Oetsu Nimaiya stood at the edge of the detached palace, shading his eyes with both hands as he peered down below.

"Give it up. How could you possibly see anything down there from here?" Kirinji Tenjiro said, a stalk of grass clenched between his teeth as he slowly walked up behind Oetsu, smoothing his slightly damp hair. "At this height, even sensing spiritual pressure is a struggle."

Oetsu straightened up, turned to look at him, and raised a finger to point at his temple.
