After Connors lured Spider-Man away, Shen Fei sighed. He had to relocate again.

Spider-Man's curiosity had latched onto him. More importantly, the Green Goblin had disappeared here. Even if Connors lured him away this time, he would definitely come looking again later.

Even if they led him away every time, if Spider-Man came here too often, Tony might soon notice.

That guy was planning to recruit Spider-Man into his own camp.

Osborn had stabilized by now, and the Green Goblin was in his hands.

It was time for him to take control of Osborn as well.

As for the Green Goblin's shares, Shen Fei already considered them his.

He notified Klaw to begin relocating the manor. In fact, the move had already been underway for some time; they were merely waiting on the results of certain experiments.

When he entered the laboratory, he saw Norman tied to an operating table. Judging by his appearance, the Green Goblin had taken hold of him again.

"Have you made up your mind?"

Shen Fei looked over the Human Enhancement Serum documents he had taken from Osborn—the Green Goblin Serum research. To him, this was easy enough to solve.

A genetic disorder was most easily resolved through gene editing.

The problem was that gene editing could hardly be tested on a human body, since the proteins expressed by the genes had already been determined.

Editing the genes now might not have any effect at all.

It could also cause an otherwise stable genetic chain to collapse, triggering all sorts of changes.

But to Shen Fei, that was all it amounted to.

Half of Norman's face was twisted in pain, while the other half wore a crazed grin.

"Made up my mind about what? You cockroach, get the hell out!"

"Forget it. Green Goblin, you should just disappear..."

There was simply no reasoning with the Green Goblin. His mind was filled with nothing but destruction and cockroaches.

Even though Norman's strength would decline without the Green Goblin personality, Shen Fei did not particularly need Norman's strength.

What he needed more was Norman's business sense and scientific mind.

He was still buying up all kinds of companies on the verge of bankruptcy, but his goal was not to make money. Money was merely one of the ways he acquired experimental materials.

Companies were just tools to him.

Most of his energy would definitely be devoted to research. Managing companies was far too wasteful of his time.

Norman was his best choice right now.

Just as Tony needed Pepper, he needed Norman.

And Norman had scientific talent as well. Shen Fei felt that if the Green Goblin personality had not affected him so severely, and his gifts were properly put to use, Osborn might truly rival Stark someday.

After all, the twenty-first century was the century of biology.

Shen Fei suddenly recalled a joke from his previous life.

Ignoring the ranting Green Goblin, Shen Fei had a rather important date today. After all their recent interactions, Jessica was almost starting to like him.

She'd be his soon!

Outside the detective agency, Jessica stood by the roadside, occasionally looking in both directions as though she were waiting for someone.

Jessica was dressed rather ladylike today, wearing a long dress she had not worn in a very long time. Ever since gaining her abilities, she had stopped wearing long dresses.

They made it too easy to expose herself when using her powers.

Suddenly, a Taurus Car pulled up beside Jessica. Someone spoke with a smile.

"Hello, miss. Do you have plans tonight?"

"I do, thank you." Jessica looked at the man in the driver's seat. He wore sunglasses, had some stubble on his chin, and hair that looked permanently fixed in place with gel. He was obviously a real show-off.

"Can you make him wait a little longer? Just tell him you're going on a date with Iron Man."

The man removed his sunglasses, revealing Tony's face, but her reaction took him by surprise.

Jessica showed no expression at all. "Hello."

Then she continued looking around, showing no interest whatsoever in Tony's claim of being Iron Man.

Tony was not offended. "Interesting woman."

At that moment, a rather ordinary-looking car drove over. Jessica, who had been scanning the surroundings, immediately broke into a smile.

She hurried over to the car.

Shen Fei smiled and asked Jessica, who had been waiting by the road, "Have you been waiting long? Some important materials arrived for an experiment, so I had to deal with them."

"No. I just got here too."

Jessica smiled, opened the car door, and got in.

"These are for you." Shen Fei took a bouquet from the back seat and handed it to Jessica.

"Thank you."

"Let's go. I hired a chef from elsewhere today. I'll take you to eat something good."

Shen Fei looked at the luxury car ahead and frowned. "Why isn't this guy leaving? Isn't he afraid of getting ticketed?"

"Probably not. He said he was Iron Man. He also asked whether anyone had asked me out."

Shen Fei asked, "That show-off Iron Man?"

"Yeah."

Why is this guy here?

Shen Fei was puzzled, but he did not show it. Seeing Jessica's faintly teasing expression, he said, "He's just Iron Man."

Is this woman trying to make me jealous?

At that moment, someone knocked twice on Shen Fei's window.

Shen Fei's Super Hearing had long since picked up someone approaching. He rolled down the window.

"Buddy, let me take this lady out tonight, and this car is yours."

Tony raised an eyebrow. Although he had already promised Pepper that he would settle down, this woman was different. She was a little special.

It seemed he had seen her file before.

She had once been a Super Hero named Jewel.

But he did not know what had happened afterward, and she had vanished for a time. It was only when he passed this detective agency just now that he remembered reading Jessica's file.

Recently, he had been recruiting people. He intended to discuss related ideas with every superpowered individual he encountered, to see if he could bring them into his team.

But he did not dare say it outright, lest he provoke her, so he had planned to use a date as an excuse to talk.

He had not expected to be rejected.

Shen Fei glanced at him, rolled the window back up, honked once, turned on his signal, drove around the car ahead, and left, leaving Tony standing there with a bewildered look.

"Did this guy not recognize me?"

Tony had not expected to be ignored.

"Friday! Find out who this guy is!"

"Identity confirmed. The information is displayed on your lenses."

Soon, Tony looked at the information on his glasses and watched the departing car. "Vibranium Dealer... a major shareholder of Osborn."

Osborn's stock price had been plummeting because of Norman's actions.

And recently, under pressure from S.H.I.E.L.D., it had crashed even harder.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was in chaos, and nobody knew where Nick had run off to.

Yet they had suddenly made a move like this.

Nick had to be pulling strings behind the scenes.

"Shen Fei. Interesting."

Tony got into his car and said, "Friday, gather information on Shen Fei and Osborn. Keep an eye on their movements. I didn't expect him to be connected to Black Panther.

I should deal with Spider-Man first."

With that, the car shot away with a roar, becoming a blur as it vanished from the spot.
