"You!" Bulma scrambled up from the ground, hands on her hips, head tilted back as she demanded indignantly, "Soro! Why did you turn into this to scare people!"
Her brows were knitted together, her chin slightly raised.
"I was just training, wasn't I?" Soro grinned, revealing a mouthful of sharp fangs.
"Wait a minute..." Bulma suddenly realized something, stepping back half a pace and tapping her chin with a finger, "Why can you talk? I remember when Goku turned into this, he seemed to lose his mind."
Her gaze turned alert, scanning Soro's face back and forth twice.
"Rest assured," Soro smiled, his golden eyes carrying a gentle warmth, "I haven't lost my mind."
He paused, his massive palm spreading open at his side.
"Hurry up and find me some clothes; I shredded mine when I transformed just now."
Bulma pressed a hand to her forehead, the other resting on her waist, rendered speechless.
The corner of her mouth twitched, and her shoulders gave a little shake.
So he only came back because he had no clothes left.
"Just wait a moment, then." Bulma turned and headed toward the room, her steps light as she pushed the door open and walked inside.
Soro stood where he was, waiting patiently.
Before long, Bulma emerged from the room holding a set of packaged clothes.
The white packaging bag even had a ribbon tied around it.
Soro crouched down, his massive frame bending low.
He reached out his large hand, palm open, the lines on his palm resembling a dried-up riverbed.
Bulma placed the clothes onto Soro's fingertips, covering her mouth to stifle a giggle, her eyes curving into crescent moons.
Soro didn't think much of it; he pinched the clothes and carefully pulled them back.
Without further hesitation, he looked up and pointed a finger toward the artificial full moon in the sky.
A massive finger pointed toward the heavens.
"Bang!"
An invisible burst of energy erupted from his fingertip, moving so fast it was almost invisible to the naked eye.
The artificial full moon was instantly blasted into smithereens.
The golden sphere of light exploded, scattering starlight that bloomed in the air with brilliant colors, like a grand display of fireworks.
The sky returned to its original color, and the clouds drifted back into view.
Soro's body began to shrink rapidly.
The black fur receded, his massive bones contracted, and his muscles pulled back in.
Within seconds, his body returned to the size of a normal human.
Feeling that he was about to fully recover, Soro flickered and vanished from the spot.
His body turned into a blur, clutching the clothes, and in the blink of an eye, he appeared inside his own room.
The room door clicked shut behind him.
Soro stood in the center of the room, looking down at the clothes Bulma had prepared for him.
The packaging was already open, white fabric peeking out from the opening.
At this sight, Soro's face instantly turned black.
A vein throbbed on his forehead, and the corner of his mouth twitched violently.
What the hell...
This was a set of pure white women's clothing!
The hem was embroidered with small flowers, the collar was trimmed with lace, and a satin ribbon was tied at the waist.
The entire outfit radiated an exquisite and delicate aura.
Soro's previous outfit had been white, and when he saw the clothes while transformed as a Great Ape, they looked small, so he only registered the color without looking closely.
Now that he took a good look, it was actually this style!
Bulma must have done this on purpose.
Soro's fists clenched, his knuckles popping.
He took a deep breath, his chest expanding, then exhaled slowly.
Then, with a dark expression, he walked to the window and threw it open.
He leaned half his body out, glaring at Bulma from afar.
Down in the courtyard, Bulma was standing there with her hands behind her back, looking up at Soro's window.
A mischievous smile hung on her face, her eyes curved into crescent moons, and the arc of her mouth carried a hint of triumph.
"Heehee!" Bulma stuck her tongue out at Soro, the tip flashing for a moment before she pulled it back.
Confirmed.
This woman, Bulma, was doing it on purpose.
However... this was nothing.
"Swish!"
Soro flickered, his figure vanishing from the window.
His speed was so great that not even an afterimage remained.
The next second, he had already appeared in the courtyard, reached out an arm, and swept Bulma up by her waist.
As Bulma's body lifted into the air, before her cry of surprise could even escape, Soro's feet touched the ground and he flickered again.
In an instant, the two of them vanished from the courtyard.
Another second passed.
Inside Bulma's bedroom, the air trembled slightly.
Soro let go, and Bulma landed on the floor, her body swaying.
She looked down and saw that her coat, skirt, shoes... were all gone.
She was left wearing only her undergarments.
The white fabric shimmered faintly under the light.
"Eek!" Bulma shrieked, crossing her arms over her chest. Her cheeks flushed bright red, the color spreading from her neck all the way to her ears.
She froze in place, her eyes wide, her lips trembling.
"Hurry and find me some clothes," Soro's voice came from a corner of the room, his tone flat. "Do you want to have even fewer clothes on?"
He leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, his gaze averted to the side, not looking at Bulma.
Bulma's breathing grew rapid, her chest heaving.
Biting her lip, she hurriedly bent down and rummaged through her wardrobe for a set of men's clothing, her fingers still trembling slightly.
The clothes were folded neatly; she held them in both hands and placed them on the edge of the bed.
Then she turned her back, facing the wall, clutching her hands in front of her.
Soro stepped forward, picked up the clothes, and quickly put them on.
He let out a long sigh of relief, rolled his shoulders, and only after confirming the clothes fit did he slowly walk over to Bulma's side.
"Hmph!" Bulma turned her head, chin slightly raised, refusing to look at him. She pouted and let out a soft snort through her nose. "Hateful!"
"By the way, Bulma," Soro stated his request directly, his tone calm. "Can you make me a set of battle armor like the ones Vegeta or Nappa wear?"
"You apologize!" Bulma was still angry, pouting with a sullen expression, her gaze shifting toward the window.
"You were the one who teased me with that outfit first!" Soro said irritably, then paused to change the subject. "That armor of theirs, I remember it being called something like a rubber-ceramic composite material!"
"That doesn't mean you can just strip my clothes off!" Bulma stood with her hands on her hips, pouting, and pointed a finger at Soro. Her eyes widened, then she paused, her brow furrowing slightly. "Rubber-ceramic composite material? With the name of the material, manufacturing it shouldn't be a problem!"
"I didn't strip you bare; I was already being very polite," Soro replied, spreading his hands. "So, can that special armor be manufactured? I don't want to shred my clothes again the next time I transform!"
"You call that being very polite to me?! You apologize!" Bulma's voice rose, and she stomped her foot before falling into thought, tapping her chin. "It shouldn't be a problem. It will take three to five days at most to manufacture."
"The words 'I'm sorry' have never existed in my vocabulary!" Soro shook his head, refusing decisively. His mouth twitched, and he added, "That's great! Three to five days isn't long."
