But with that came the pressure. No matter how I looked at it, I couldn't come up with a complete outline.
No matter how I wrote it, there would always be details I overlooked.
I was becoming more and more dissatisfied with this book.
Let's set the writing itself aside for now!
The worlds I traveled to didn't make sense, and I kept switching between different attack styles. Sometimes even I would forget which ones I'd used.
That was the drawback of starting a book without having a general plan worked out beforehand.
So, when I reached five hundred thousand words, I made a decision. (Everyone in the reader group should know this.)
At the beginning, I'd promised everyone that I would finish writing about these four worlds: The Irregular at Magic High School, The Asterisk War, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and Strike the Blood.
So even if I was in a hurry to wrap things up, I had to finish writing about those four worlds.
Because I'd made that promise, and letting the story end carelessly would only teach me a very bad habit.
So here we are. I've left everyone with an open ending.
And from November 21, 2021, to now, July 31, 2022—
During those 255 days, I never missed an update, not even for a holiday, when friends invited me out to eat, or when I was sick and hooked up to an IV.
I think I've proven that I'm a person of my word.
So this is a good place for this book to end.
Thank you all for supporting me for so long. Once again, I sincerely thank you.
I hope we can continue this journey together in the future!!!
Actually, I'm saying all this because
